The atmosphere of the main building and the newly renovated guest rooms are different, but I enjoyed the good points of each.

The Japanese architecture built during the Taisho era was amazing! The ceiling decorations and the warbler corridor are truly cultural assets.

I stayed here as a family of 4 including my wife and 2 children. The accommodations, rooms, and furniture were carefully selected, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The pool is divided into shallow and deep areas, so even children can use it, so they had a lot of fun.I was satisfied with the rice as I could feel the care taken from every single ingredient!

I stayed with my husband and 4 family members including my 2 children. The building that houses the front desk, restaurant, footbath, etc. is a pure Japanese-style building that gives you a sense of history and is well maintained, and I also noticed the attention to detail in the interior and furniture. The staff were polite and attentive to details such as the size of the slippers. The building where the guest rooms are located is a brand new building with a modern Japanese feel, and it has a different feel from the building where the front desk is located, which was nice. The bath in the room was an open-air bath made of cypress. The quality of the spring water was also good. There is a living room on the first floor, and a bedroom and open-air bath on the second floor, making it spacious enough for a family of four. You can directly access the courtyard where the sauna and pool are located from the balcony of your room, making it a convenient way to get around. The children were also very excited and enjoyed the pool. When it gets cold, you can take a break in the sauna, so it seems like you can play for a long time.Dinner was a Kaiseki meal using local specialties such as Saga beef, and I was very satisfied with the volume, number of items, and taste. At night, I took a bath in my room, and when I woke up in the morning, I took a private bath.It was very spacious and comfortable. There were other footbaths, bars, and tearooms, but I couldn't visit them all in one day, so I'd like to use them again.

If you are a Korean coming to Takeo, this is the place.I was worried because there weren't too many reviews, but you probably won't want to go home. It's an hour by train from Fukuoka Hataka Station and a 10-minute walk from Takeo Onsen Station.Quiet and pretty accommodationThe landscaping is great and the hot spring water is good. The furniture is made of the highest quality, such as George Nakashima and Kasina, so it feels great just to sit down and relax. The swimming pool is also warm and slippery with hot spring water. Swimsuits are provided in the room.Going into the sauna and sweating off it is really quiet and healing. After checking in, you will be instructed to take a foot bath while drinking cool green tea. They say you can take a foot bath at any time. There were so many things to enjoy that I only did it once😅All the staff are friendly. They say that kaiseki cuisine is eaten with the eyes, but this place is both a feast for the eyes and a feast for the mouth.I recommend dinner and breakfast included👍🏻Free beer and highballs are provided at the bar shown in the photo, and drinks in the room are also free, so it's not a waste of money. It's clean and the bedding is soft. There is also an oriole floor made in the 13th year of Meiji, and the sound is really pretty and fun.If you come to Fukuoka, stay here, including Saga.I like the course to see the Takeo Library, shrines, camphor trees, etc.Next time, I plan to bring my parents too. Highly recommended!!
