Hot water is the best♨️I can't say enough about the taste and volume of the food👍What worried me was that all the people working there were elderly. It's a very good inn, so I hope it stays open for a long time.

The water was nice. I agree with that one word. Many of the hot springs around Kokira have hot sources, and the temperature of the bathtubs is often over 43 degrees Celsius. As a couple who like lukewarm baths, we searched for lukewarm water and found this inn. The temperature in the indoor bath was around 43℃, but the open-air bath with a view on the 5th floor was still a bit lukewarm (although it was around 41℃), so I was very satisfied. The facility is quite worn out and has the smell of the Showa era. Although it is not recommended for a trip with a girlfriend, it might be perfect for families or elderly couples who have been together for many years. There was a self-catering kitchen on the second floor, which I don't think is used anymore, and I was impressed by the gas vending machine installed there.

3 stars over 4 stars. There are two indoor baths, which is a good deal. There is also a piano in the old building. The view from the open-air bath is good, but in exchange, if you step outside of the bath, you can see it from the road, so I think some people may be concerned about it.The downside is that the food isn't very tasty and you can't choose your breakfast time. I think it was around 7:30.

A cute hot spring town about 30 minutes by bus from Yonezawa StationNikaido, which is recommended by the locals, has one hot indoor bath, so I went to Yanagawaso, which has an open-air bath on the rooftop. Onogawa Onsen blog has 1 recommendation. When you pay the 500 yen bathing fee at the reception desk, just confirm that you can use both the rooftop and indoor baths, and you'll be fine. I was told that I just had to get tired in the bath.First, go to the rooftop open-air bath. A pleasant bath with a view. The space is large enough for 3 or 4 people. It's not that hot. There is no washing area here, so I changed my clothes and went to the indoor bath on the first floor. The water feels hotter than the rooftop, but it's not too hot and it's nice. After I left, I took a bath as the receptionist had told me to do, and it worked great. As expected, it was a hot spring recommended by a local.

For day use only. The open-air bath, which I was told was lukewarm, was fed by a No. 4 hot spring source, and the outside air was cold, but on the contrary, I was able to thoroughly enjoy the No. 4 hot spring water. In addition, the indoor bath has a ratio of 7:3 between No. 4 and No. 5, and has hot water flowing over it.Onogawa Onsen's No. 4 source is wonderful in itself, but each inn and public bath has a different temperature, blend, and temperature, which makes it very enjoyable. The hot springs are quite harsh, but you'll probably fall in love with them.

Stop by for a bath. The hot springs were being cleaned, so we could only use the large public bath, and the water was quite lukewarm. The hospitality of the reception desk (number desk) is also not good. I'd like to think I just happened to have a bad day.

This is a drop-in hot spring. I couldn't take a bath except for the large public bath because it was being cleaned. It had a slight sulfur smell, the water was thick without being too hot, and it was clean, which was great.
