My husband and I used it for the first time for two nights.It was a reasonable plan to leave the room to us and have less food, but the room was on the river side and my husband and I often had dinner together, so I was sorry but I ended up leaving behind the food.At noon, we were able to have lunch at Yahagi, a hot springs restaurant, which was delicious and had a nostalgic feel of the Showa era.It was also easy to pay with Sansuikaku Tsuke...When I stayed at Sansuikaku, I was able to take a bath at a hot springs restaurant, and it was great to have unlimited access to the hot springs! The quality of the spring water is simple, but the water has a pH of 9.0 and is smooth.I personally recommend that there are 3 bathing areas that you can rent out.Perhaps because of the timing, it's too hot to jump into the bathtub right away, but rather add water and massage the water.It's probably tap water, but it seems like it's pumping up underground water.I haven't confirmed it, so this is just a reference. I have used various hotels and inns, but this was one of the inns that I would want to go to again, or one that I would go to again!The last thing that struck me was the breakfast buffet, which had squid sashimi on the first day and water octopus sashimi on the second day, which I thought was unusual.In the past, we often had tuna sashimi at the breakfast buffet in the morning, but I haven't seen it in the past ten years or so, so I enjoyed it.Of course, the evening meal is not included in the image, but there was also boiled fish, one more dish, and the standard dessert, which was too much for me to eat over the two days. The miso soup in the morning had mackerel and what else? It was good.I would like to take the time to help you again.

The apricot roll was so delicious that I couldn't forget it! Since I went on a weekday, there weren't many people, so I was able to explore the inn > ̫ <♩The Toshio Suzuki and Ghibli exhibition was being held at Kikusuikan, and I got a ticket so I went to see it! On the way there, I could see the mixed open-air bath in full view, which made me feel quite uncomfortable.It was really nice to have some employees who greet me good morning and good night 😸

sorry…I haven't been to Sansuikaku, but it looked great from the outside!I went to the Ghibli exhibition with Toshio Suzuki, so this is my review 😅If you like Ghibli, please go and see it!You will be healed by old buildings and the best works!Please note that the open-air bath of Sansuikaku is fully visible.

This is my favorite hot spring inn in Hanamaki Onsen.It feels great to relax and enjoy the view of the beautiful murmuring river from the open-air bath.There is also a large semi-open-air bath in the new building, and there are many bathing facilities.No matter what you eat at dinner, you will be very delicious.Breakfast is a buffet and there are not too many choices, so you can choose what you want without hesitation.

There are several baths, and the hot water is so smooth that it clings to your skin, making it feel like you're soaking in beauty serum.The open-air bath where you can bathe while listening to the sound of the river is especially wonderful.It is connected to an old-fashioned wooden building called Tojibu, which was used for bathing guests, and you can also take a bath there.I was impressed to see that the atmosphere of an old-fashioned hot spring spa remains, such as the restaurant, kitchen, tatami room rest area, and counter area for bathing guests on the way to the bath.The room I stayed in was a two-room spacious room along the river. The mountain stream and greenery spread out in the back of the room, which is soothing.Although we chose a plan with a smaller amount of meals, it was more than enough for a middle-aged couple. It was a buffet in the morning.

In the past, I have stayed at Sansuikaku and Kikusuikan several times.I loved the hot springs, the hospitality, and the atmosphere so much that I kept coming back.Until the other day.The other day, I stayed at the self-catering club next door for the first time.On my way to the Sansuikaku bath, I tried to go to the parking lot to get a bath towel, but I ended up in the lobby of Sansuikaku by mistake.There was a shop there, so I casually tried to take a look, but a male employee of Sansuikaku told me not to go in because it was only for Sansuikaku guests! He paused in a strong tone.The atmosphere was as if they were telling me to leave quickly.When I stayed at Sansuikaku in the past, no one told me anything when I went to the self-catering shop, and I was able to use Yahagi, so why not the other way around? I didn't know what that meant, and I didn't expect to be kicked out of the kiosk. It felt really bad.If so, I would like to see a larger sign at the entrance stating that it is a store exclusively for Sansuikaku guests.If you're wearing casual clothes instead of a yukata, you won't be able to tell who the guest is, and since you're staying at a self-catering club, you're not paying for the service, so you're not eligible! There was a sense of discrimination, and the way he said things was not polite at all. I thought Sansuikaku was so wonderful, but I was disappointed to learn that this is how they treat non-guests.The guests at Sansuikaku may have a different attitude, but personally, I don't trust the humanity to change their response.

It's a scary place. The men's open-air bath is in full view.I happened to visit the Ghibli exhibition. A store across the river? When I saw the exhibition, there was a customer in the men's open-air bath. It was in full view. She was sitting fully open on the edge of the bath as if to show off. There were no female customers, so I don't know if it was completely visible, but considering that the men's open-air bath was completely visible, I guess...About half of the exhibit was of Mr. Kanyada's hometown photos, which had nothing to do with Ghibli, so it was interesting in a way.

I stayed there a long time ago, but it was actually decades ago. It was really good then, but this time it was even better! ! I stayed with my brother's family in Iwate for Obon. I'm still basking in the afterglow. It was a wonderful stay. The old building where the bathhouse is located is very interesting, so I crossed the hallway and went there several times. I liked the nostalgic atmosphere of the shop at night. There are several baths, and I decided to go to the open-air bath, which is usually a mixed bathing area, when it was reserved for women only. It was great.There was a bath in the room with a view of the outside scenery, which was also great. The food was good and it was an unforgettable inn. However, there was one thing: The large indoor public bath at Sansuikaku seemed to be at a very busy time, so there was not a lot of room for washing, so I lined up with my bathtub in hand. Well, this was a rare experience and it's not a bad memory.

The experience I gained here is my precious treasure. What was particularly impressive was the view from the room. It's like a beautiful big painting. The rapidly flowing river and the greenery of the mountain behind it were brightly illuminated until midnight, and it was a spectacular show that rivaled any illumination I had ever seen. I turned off all the lights in the room and found myself staring at it for a long time.My husband and I will be staying for about a week. I took a vacation before the Obon festival in August, and I packed up my cooking utensils and wine and went to see them by car.During our stay, we usually take a bath in the morning when we wake up. For breakfast, we will have a buffet provided by the hotel. Afterwards, we soak in the hot springs again, and return to the cool room to enjoy the sun-kissed scenery. By then, I was getting hungry, so I went to the self-catering room in the spa and cooked some slightly burnt rice using rice grown in Iwate Prefecture, and cooked the vegetables, meat, and fish I had bought in advance at a supermarket in the city. I bought sticky natto (hanamaki natto) and firm tofu at the shop and had them in my room. Or, after drinking draft beer at Yahagi with side dishes of Iwai chicken, burdock, and soba, you can return to the cold room and admire the scenery, and if you feel like it, soak in the hot springs and take time to do some skin care. , I truly enjoyed "modern hot spring therapy". I was truly healed by the comfortable and clean room, the three family baths, the use of my own kitchen, the cold tofu at the shop, and Yahagi's friendly smile. Thank you for giving us the best summer vacation! I want to go again♪

It takes quite a walk to get to the open-air bath, Osawa no Yu, through the self-catering section, but it's close to the river and has a nice atmosphere. While I was out in the rain, I saw a Japanese serow walking along the river.
