If you use your hot spring passport, you can get a discount of 200 yen from 500 yen per person on a private bath, or 600 yen for two people! I was able to use it for a day trip, but the husband and his wife welcomed me with smiles, there were no restrictions on how long I could use it, and they even guided me to the bath. The bathtub had the appearance of tree rings. It was about 50 years ago. I felt like I had traveled back in time. The quality of the hot spring water was so hot that it melted into my body.I was told to be careful on my way home.Thank you very much.I was healed both physically and mentally at this inn. It was full of the good atmosphere of the days when it flourished as a hot spring resort.Of course! 5 stars!

2024/3/23I wanted to support Hijiori Onsen, so I traveled 60km one way to visit Hijiori Onsen for a day trip. However, something shocking happened that almost made me hate Hijiori Onsen...Miuraya Ryokan has a historic atmosphere that will soothe your soul.Even if you use your hot spring passport, you will be warmly welcomed. It's an old-fashioned bath without a shower, but that's nice too. The water is hot, but once you get used to it, it's strange that you'll want to stay in it forever. Is this what it feels like to be warmed from the core of your body? After getting out of the bath, I thanked the person at the back of the inn and left the inn. Then, the husband came out of his own way to see me off. Even the wife, who appears to be cooking, pops in and greets us. I'm so happy. Even small things like this show genuine hospitality and warm your heart. However, from there it became difficult!I thought the space next to the inn was Miura-ya Ryokan's parking lot and parked without hesitation, but I made a big mistake.A light car was parked blocking the entrance to the parking lot. When I returned to the inn and explained the situation, I was told that the light car in the parking lot of Matsuya Ryokan belonged to the owner of the inn.So I went to visit Mr. Matsuya, apologized for parking my car by mistake, and asked if he could move my car, but the owner of the inn gave me a ferocious scolding. Would I be that angry if I parked in the parking lot by mistake and there were no signs? The owner of Miuraya also came to apologize, which helped me a lot! That's what I thought for a moment. Mr. Matsuya's anger heats up even more.He keeps his head down, and even though they both keep apologizing, Mr. Matsuya continues to yell at him. Even though it was a misunderstanding, I had no choice but to apologize because I had caused trouble, but in the end, I was told that the car would never be moved, and I was at a loss.I had no choice but to go back to the parking lot with Mr. Miura and struggle to get the car out. We fought for 30 minutes in the sleeting rain. The owner of Mr. Matsuya showed up, and after complaining a lot, he finally moved the car. Mr. Miuraya said, ``I'll apologize for the rest, so please don't worry about it and go home.''Even though it all started because of a misunderstanding on my part, it was an incredibly terrible experience. Mr. Matsuya has no intention whatsoever of enlivening Hijiori Onsen as a whole. I was told over and over again that I was causing a lot of trouble.Although it was a terrible experience, two good things happened. One is that I felt warmed by the thoughtfulness of Mr. Miuraya, who was truly kind and hospitable. Another thing is that I was able to appreciate the quality of Hijiori's hot springs, which didn't get cold even though I stayed outside in the sleet for 30 minutes. But, will the owner of Miura-san be okay? Did you catch a cold? When did Matsuya-san's anger subside? I'm a little worried.

I stayed for 2 nights with the hot spring treatment plan. It's an interesting building. There are some tough parts like brushing your teeth in the sub-zero hallway washroom, but you can warm up your cold body in the hot springs. The hot spring food, which was said to be a simple dish, was very delicious and I was looking forward to eating it. It was an inn where my heart was warmed by the warm hospitality of the innkeeper couple.

I stayed there on November 30th, the day it started snowing.Above all, I like the building. It is a building built around 1890 and has a unique atmosphere. The room we stayed in also had a nice retro feel, with shelves and hanging scrolls.Stir the water well with the hot spring before entering the bath. The surface layer is hot.We were also warmly welcomed by an elderly couple. The food was delivered to my room, and there was so much local ingredients that I couldn't finish it all. It's also good to eat with a meal. The only regret is that there was a morning market until the day before. I also want to come around June.thank you very much.

The entrance part of the building is said to be constructed during the Meiji era. Many of the dishes made with local ingredients were delicious. Even though we were in the mountains, the grilled fish for breakfast was delicious. Payment is in cash only. The toilet is outside the room, so I don't recommend it for people who are concerned about details such as equipment and cleaning, but for me it felt like my parents' home in the countryside, and it gave me fond memories of Hijiori Onsen.
