Because it springs from the mountainous area of Mt. Jizo Gongen. It is said that it came to be called Jizo no Yu.The hot springs have a history of about 1,500 years ago.The oldest hot spring in Shonai.Sodium-based, chlorine-based, odorless, light brown colorHot water without added water. Great for adapting to rough skin and scars. The water temperature in the common area is 41.7℃, lukewarm and relaxing. This is good hot water to use.I used it for a day trip bath. It was around evening on a weekday, but perhaps by chance, there were no other users and the place was reserved. It's not very spacious, so I was alone with a stranger.I think it would be awkward if that happened. The building is probably old, but has it been thoroughly cleaned or has it been recently renovated? Both the inn and the bathhouse are kept very clean and comfortable. There is not much space to relax while cooling down the hot water. There are no water coolers, massage chairs, etc. There are 3 cute cats.If I'm lucky, he'll come closer to me and make me fluff. You can get it.I guess it's a hidden gem in terms of location. I want to visit regularlyIt's a hot spring.

Jan'04.2024 Bathing and taking pictures.A day trip costs ¥500, and the spring quality is slightly alkaline, amber in color and soft with a plaster odor. The temperature is suitable for those who like slimy eyes, so you can stay soaked forever or get revenge.Where are the cats on the signboard? Is it cold and a kotatsu?Wi-Fi available and heating.

I saw somewhere on their website that they allow pets, and when I inquired they kindly accepted them, and I have been using them when visiting Dewa Sanzan.I am grateful for the thoughtfulness of the proprietress and other staff members, and I am soothed by the signboard cat. Of course, the hot water is of good quality and the food is delicious (*´∀`*)Tonight, I went to Jizo-no-yu and was told by a Shinto priest at Dewa Sanzan that he was an expert ^_^, which made me smile.I was lucky enough to see the lion dance performed by the locals during Obon this year, which I was very grateful for.I will continue to visit here to heal my mind and body, so I look forward to your continued support.
