I think it's a wonderful accommodation.I think you can tell about the hot springs and other services from other people's reviews, so I'll talk about the replica armor. There is a replica of the armor at the inn.Guests can wear them. There are imitation swords. There is a replica of the matchlock gun. There are also ones for children. It's just heavy. It's free. You can take photos.I was very impressed as I don't have many opportunities like this.I was so impressed the first time that I came a second time to have my son wear armor.Just wearing the armor seems worth it.I'll come back later.postscriptThis is my third stay in 4 years.I'm here again. It's still a wonderful stay.Starting with a complimentary drink, wine service, ramune, dessert after the meal, a gift of fireworks for the children, and morning coffee.Relaxation room. The level of hospitality is amazing. It's not that wide. It's compact and wonderful. There are a lot of dinners. By the time the white rice comes out, I'm full. It's a composition that makes you want a lot of food halfway through. For breakfast, let's feed him so much that he can't move! It's a platter. You will find products that are rooted in the local area. I think it's very goodIt was not well received by my companions. It seems that the fact that I always had white rice in the morning didn't seem to be very appealing to those around me.I'm really happy with the Dolce Gusto in the room. delicious. This time too, the children were allowed to wear armor. I was given a lot of freedom and was very happy. As a side note, older employees tend to speak in a blunt manner. It seems to be a regional thing. Locals can also see it at surrounding shops. There are shops selling Japanese wine scattered around the area.I think it's perfect for people who like wine.Below are some disappointing points. The problem is that the bath towels were free to use and ran out. Although I think this can't be helped with recent trends, I am disappointed. It's not the inn's fault, but there are no tourist attractions or places for children to play in the surrounding area.I'll come back later.

The parking lot is a little far away. The room didn't feel old at all and was of very high quality compared to other inns in the same price range. We had a hot spring and the best rock bath in Japan, which we really enjoyed.Breakfast and dinner were delicious, but the portions were a little large.Unfortunately, during dinner, I left some side dishes behind, but when the staff came, they said something along the lines of, "Are you not going to eat anymore?"Also, after I finished eating, I was served a large amount of rice, and I felt that the timing was strange. It's a bit of a shame as everything else was good.

This is a hot spring inn where you can feel the history and have a high level of satisfaction. I felt that everything about it matched the concept of this hot spring inn, with the good old atmosphere and modern retro feel. Services such as welcome drinks are also provided. In the historical warehouse exhibition room, I was able to listen to explanations (in Japanese, English, and Chinese) about the Battle of Kawanakajima while looking at a diorama, and it was also a great way to learn about history. Armor is also on display (albeit a replica), and children can enjoy cosplaying with various costumes and accessories.Above all, the hot springs and open-air baths are wonderful. There is a stone bath carved out of a rock, a large bathtub, a hot spring bath with dancing flowers, and a hot spring bath, so you can relax surrounded by forest greenery.*Before entering the hot springs, we recommend that you listen to folktales in the folklore room in front of the hot springs. You can learn about the origin of the stone bath and still enjoy it.Also, when I visited in August, I was able to enjoy fireworks on the roof of the building.*If you go up the stairs in the backyard of the building, you will find a footbath under the plum tree.*The meals are made with Yamagata ingredients both morning and night, so you'll be satisfied with everything, and this is an inn where you can enjoy both indoors and outdoors.
