Stayed for 1 night! ! It was so much fun that I regretted why I didn't stay two nights.First of all, the personality of Mama-san and Master is amazing.When I arrived, I said, ``Welcome home, I'm tired!'' It felt like I was coming home! !The place I'm staying in is old-fashioned, but it has 4 beds, the air conditioner works well, and the shower has good water pressure.There is a refrigerator, dishes, and laundry detergent. There were no supermarkets nearby, so I didn't have any problems just buying seasonings at the supermarket.My best memories of Miyakojima were being shown the flowers that bloom at night and enjoying karaoke with the locals at an izakaya.

We were in the surroundings and decided to stop by for dinner. The lady owning the restaurant had almost zero English skills, however she was so friendly and did her best to explain the (rather basic) menu. Eventually the food was delicious and not too expensive, very recommendable!

I came here after looking for a local restaurant. There was a Japanese karaoke machine in the restaurant and the elders would sing. Lovely Japanese trot-like songs keep playing, and it's great to enjoy this local atmosphere. I had yakisoba and okonomiyaki, and the okonomiyaki was especially delicious. There are three styles of okonomiyaki: pork, squid, and mixed, and I ate the mixed version. Overall, it has a salty taste but is delicious. I visited on a weekday evening, and there were mainly elderly local customers. The atmosphere of the store was friendly and cozy, and the owner and employees were friendly. There seemed to be a lot of menus with alcoholic beverages and a lot of stir-fried dishes. Please note that the menu is only in Japanese. There was also chicken and pizza, but I wasn't able to try them because I was full. Business hours are said to be until 11 p.m.
