I stayed there for about 30 nights a few years ago. Only 2-3 cars can be parked on the premises. We were able to park 4-5 cars a short distance away. Building facilities are quite old. Japanese tatami room. I was surprised to see a very large spider. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, and since the owner lived in a separate building, no one could stop it, so he got nervous. Guesthouses and fishing boats are also available for rent. I was feeling restless because the owner had just been diagnosed with a serious illness. As soon as you step out the front door, you can see the Shonan sea, which is great for playing or walking around. The imperial residence is right next to the beach, so the local people have kept the beach very clean.

This is a traditional Minshuku hidden in the residence area, just next to the ocean. The owners don't speak English, so your Japanese skills will be much appreciated. Each room is different with a twist. Two rooms are connected via a terrace, some have a mini zen garden in front. BBQ area is readily available. In the morning you often see athletes go to the same bay for their triathlon training. A little something for everyone.

[Room without meals] Adults 7,500 yen, children 5,500 yen, infants (2 years old and older) 4,000 yen[One night with two meals] Adults 9,500 yen, children 7,500 yen, infants (2 years old and over) 4,000 yenThere is a refrigerator, and the toilet and bath are separate.I thought the price was reasonable for a guesthouse in this area. However, even for a 2-year-old who doesn't need a futon or food, it costs 4,000 yen, so I wish they could improve that.
