It is located along the river that runs from Minoh Station to Minoh Falls. There is no parking lot, but if you park in a parking lot near the station, you will receive a parking ticket. We ate sushi kaiseki at the 8-seat counter while looking out at the courtyard through the large windows. The dishes include 3 small side dishes, sea bass shabu-shabu small pot, 9 sushi dishes, red soup stock, and dessert. All of the small bowls were beautiful to look at, and the sushi toppings were fresh and delicious. The retro building is very atmospheric, and on this day we were kindly given a tour of the second floor hall used for weddings, the footbath, the bathroom, and the library. It was a wonderful space where you could feel the seasons, the attention to detail, and the calmness.Next time, I would like to try Kawadoko cuisine and someday stay overnight.

I went to have Kawadoko (known here as Kawayuka) lunch at the annex Umeyashiki during the summer/autumn period (until the end of October). The sound of the stream flowing below is soothing, but in front of you are only the trees on the mountain slope. It was nice to be able to eat so many elaborate dishes since there are fewer authentic Japanese restaurants these days, but the overall taste was okay. The Inaniwa Udon Nabe was another one to finish off. The cost of ¥5,500 per person + drink fee varies depending on the person! ? Since there is no soup, I wonder if the final pot + udon could be a little more creative. It's also difficult for people with bad backs or legs! What if a chair is placed? There is no parking lot (there was a store with a parking lot nearby), so it takes about 10 minutes to walk slowly along Takimichi from Hankyu Minoh Station. I walked along the waterfall path for the first time in a while and saw a few souvenir shops, but they all seemed deserted and I was worried. By the way, a small version of the famous autumn leaves tempura costs ¥150 to ¥350, depending on the store.

A long-established restaurant in Minoh that has an atmosphere and history. The sushi for lunch is made in front of you by the chef. We also occasionally hold weddings.Kaiseki cuisine has a wide variety of dishes and is delicious. The casual service, such as the hanging scrolls in the room that match the purpose of the dinner, gives a sense of style.

2024.5 Sushi Kaiseki night useI had the sushi kaiseki dinner for the first time.My friend and I have become fans of the taste of Otowa Sanso's cuisine, and this is the evening dish that we have always wanted to try at least once. After all, I realized that everything was completely different from lunch!Lunch is delicious enough...If you haven't been to Otowa Sanso at night yet, please give it a try.2024.1.11 Sushi KaisekiThe sushi kaiseki at Otowa Sanso was so delicious that I made a reservation for 5 friends last year, and we finally had it today. It was the first time for all of us to have sushi kaiseki at Otowa Sanso, and we were surprised and impressed by the freshness and deliciousness of the toppings, and how they took advantage of the original flavors without masking them with sauce or soy sauce. was being done. One of my friends actually didn't like the smell of raw fish, but he was surprised to find that all the ingredients in Otowa Sanso's meals were fresh and well-selected, and he was able to finish the whole meal so deliciously.I also noticed something this time.Because we carefully select our ingredients, we receive the best ingredients from around the country that are caught at the time, so we can enjoy different meals depending on the season and the moment.(The scallops this time were amazing)Another friend said that he was impressed not only by the food, but also by the beauty of the sushi chef's movements and the smartness of his story.Everyone has different things to be happy about, but it's one of the few shops that I discover every time I visit that makes me want to visit again.Thank you for the meal.2023.9.29This time I had sushi. This space where you can have your sushi made right in front of you while looking out at the courtyard is the best reward. The sushi rice and toppings are both excellent. I look forward to changing the materials each season.Especially the soup stock and seasonings are delicious.I like the quality of the ingredients, the gentle, deep flavor, and the attentive customer service.I would like you to experience the elation of eating food while looking at the view of the courtyard on a rainy day.2022.12A meal at the longed-for Otowa Sanso. I thought it would be difficult to enter, but I was very satisfied with the excellent customer service and food.As you would expect from Osaka, the staff will be happy to help you.The taste of the food made me want to come back again. It is a heartwarming place with a retro building.
