When I requested a cancellation due to a large typhoon 3 days before my stay, I was not able to get a full refund.I thought it was a lost opportunity by blocking the reservation slot, but there were other rooms of the same type available.For whatever reason, it seemed like they wanted to get cheap accommodation at all costs.Details below.Booked on Airbnb for surfing. (I felt uncomfortable with my language skills from the time I made the reservation.)However, the typhoon hit them directly and it became difficult to go there.When I contacted Airbnb, I was told that refunds due to typhoon cancellations are determined by the host, which is separate from the normal cancellation policy, so when I consulted with the host, I was told that refunds were not possible.As a result, I received a refund from the Airbnb management who understood the situation as shown in the screenshot.As a fellow surfer, I felt very sad, so I recommend that you do not take advantage of it.
