I stayed for two nights alone on a rainy and windy weekend at the end of June.It was a place I had been curious about for a long time since I saw it in Jaran, but I was finally able to stay there. The building definitely felt old, but the room was bright and clean, and you could hear cars passing by, but the important thing was that cars rarely passed, so it wasn't a bother.Unfortunately, I stayed there on a day when there was a lot of rain and wind, so I woke up several times at night to the sound of the window rattling, but other than that, I rested comfortably without any problems. There is no air conditioning in the room, only a fan, but due to the nature of the area, it is very cool, so it wasn't hot at all during the day, and I had to cover myself with a thick blanket at night.During our two-night stay, the owner quietly took care of everything we needed and did not bother or talk to us without any reason.I don't think it would be suitable for someone who expects excessive friendliness or kindness. The meals were almost the same for two nights, but overall the taste wasn't as strong, so I didn't get tired of it and enjoyed it more than I expected. On the first day, they asked me first if I could eat raw eggs for breakfast. When I said that I could but didn't like it, they gave me fried eggs for two days in a row, and the side dishes that I didn't even touch on the first night's dinner menu were missing the next night and replaced with something else.I went to the hot springs a couple of times because I went to several day trip hot springs outside, but the temperature was too hot.I think it would be better in chilly weather than in summer.I would like to visit again around fall.

I was on my way back from mountain climbing. I don't want people to pay too much attention to it, so that's my preference. The indoor bath is hot. I guess it's close to the source...

A ryokan in Sujiyu. Although it is old, it is cheap and has many hot springs.I'm happy to say that you can rent out all of them.

Probably one of the Sujiyu hot springs♨️The hot spring open-air bath is the best. The autumn leaves 🍁 are enchanting at the perfect temperature as the leaves fall. I went in at night and in the morning. Hot springs are the best😀The food was delicious too 😋1 night and 2 meals included 🍙 rice ball bento for lunchIt was 9500 yen. Seems to be cheaper on days other than Saturdays. It was great thank you very much♪

If you like guesthouses, why not?Customer service is not a bad person. After all, it's 8000 yen!I keep my room cleanThere are 4 baths that can be reserved for private use.Is it difficult for women to take an open-air bath?Refrigerator fan with washlet, no air conditionerWashbasin and toilet are in the roomWhat was disappointingAdjusting the temperature of the open-air bath. I tried to adjust it by turning on the water, but the large semi-open-air area didn't go down much even if I turned on the water, so I couldn't put it in.(It took about an hour, and I wanted to go back later, but the hotel seemed to have turned off the water, so I couldn't get in in the end.)The rice at breakfast was quite cold. The rice was delicious, so I wish it was served piping hot. .*The following is a record of the trip.Since I suddenly had a long holiday at the end of August, I decided to go on a solo trip the day before to find a cool and quiet place.1005m above sea level, 24.5℃ in the afternoon at the end of AugustI don't need an air conditionerRelax in your room, have a drink, and take a bath. The source is hot. Unfortunately, it was raining lightly, but there were trees growing in the open air, which kept us out of the rain.I wanted to go in with a starry sky~Dinner: The rice is delicious! Comes with large bottle of beerWhen I ate it and went outside, I heard a low buzzing sound near my ear. When I looked up, I saw a beetle flying in. I touched it for the first time in 40 years😂I will draw the futon myself. At night, turn off the fan and relax quietly. Eventually, it will get so cold that you have to close the windows.Take a morning bath and have breakfast. The rice in the bowl is getting cold, probably because I prepared it too early. The delicious rice...When we checked out at 10am, it was 20.5℃!There were a lot of downhills on the way home, so the fuel consumption was lol. 28/l when driving normally😂It's a diesel car, not a hybrid. The temperature is getting warmer and we are back to normal life⤵I bought a tataki chicken as a souvenir.Unfortunately, it was raining, so I decided to get revenge by enjoying the starry sky and the hot spring water.

I searched the website and looked for accommodation at Sujiyu Onsen. Since there are no pubs or restaurants nearby, I opted for a one-night stay with two meals included. I decided to stay for 8,000 yen, including two meals (cheaper than a guesthouse). An inn run mainly by a fairly elderly proprietress (she is also in the latter stages of her senior year)!I was satisfied with the fact that the room had a toilet and washroom...There are two indoor baths and an outdoor bath with a roof, and there is a sign that says ``Bathing in progress.''First, let's go to the outdoor bath in the hot spring town...In the hot spring town, there are ``Utase-no-yu'' (men and women), ``Iwan-yu'', and ``Yakushi-yu'', which alternate daily for men and women...On this day, the boys went to Yakushi-yu. Guests are given two medals at the inn (placed in the fare box at the public bath), so they can use them for free!It is a calm hot spring in a mountain village where there are many small inns in addition to one large inn and one medium-sized inn. Located in Yutsubo, Kokonoe Town, it is conveniently located to go anywhere.

2 indoor baths, 1 outdoor bath, and 1 large semi-open bath. You can take a bath whenever you like 24 hours a day with free-flowing water. All of the baths are reserved for private use, so you can soak in the bath without any hesitation.I've used it three times so far. The inn is similar to a guesthouse, but each room has a toilet and sink. The amenities are good and there is no inconvenience. It's an old building, so there may be some damage, but I think it's kept in good condition. Some looseness is a problem found in all accommodations. In addition to sightseeing and business, many people also use it as a base for mountain climbing. There is no friendliness from the host. That said, I don't feel uncomfortable. They don't get treated poorly either. I realize that I'm just being simple. Now, take a bath.Neither of the outdoor baths offer a view, but I'm satisfied just by taking a bath...✌️The outside air from the high place without the humidity feels good. The indoor bath is like a family bath, and although it is not large, it is sufficient. The bathtub is also set up like a hot spring.Dinner includes a variety of home-cooked dishes. However, in addition to horse sashimi, it also comes with yakiniku or a small pot, so I'm really happy about it.The chawanmushi is delicious. For weekdays and seniors, a large bottle of beer is free 🎵 It's good to have a large bottle instead of a medium bottle 😃⤴️⤴️ It's rare in a ryokan. This content for this price. “Thank you❗.”A very satisfying dinner. At other inns, you can only get one free medal for the communal bath, but here it is placed next to the entrance with a message that says ``Feel free🎶'' (subjective). Therefore, you can use the communal bath as much as you like. I thoroughly enjoyed myself during my stay m(._.)m
