We had a wonderful stay and still can't stop raving about it. The surroundings are super beautiful and you are away from the hustle and bustle. The staff offers an incredible service without losing the cozy and familiar flair. The food also leaves nothing to be desired and always offers a wide range of delicious and healthy food, including veggie options on request. We would come here again at any time!

Where do I start? everything is awesome. 5 stars for the service because the staff really made us feel like home - very kind and approachable, really thinks of our comfort. I love the ambiance and most of all, THE FOOD! the salads are amazing, as well as the live cooking experience and how the staff are open to explain what ingredients are used - mostly homegrown and handpicked from the farm.Only a bit of a downside (of which the team were able to solve this very quickly) was that the solar-powered lights in our room was dead at around 9:00pm - so the team managed to moved us to another room, which was just across our room, and arranged the room quickly, also made sure that the gas for hot water is full — so we can take hot shower at night without issues - and that was awesome!I love the main lounge because of the eccentric set-up, and the concept of disconnecting and talking with people. Too bad I didn't try the cocktails!I also love how thoughtful it is to have kids corner with toys and books - my 3.5 y.o. toddler stayed there all the time.the farm tour arranged for my toddler and the short trek arranged for us were awesome too.Overall - we're satisfied and definitely will come back.

I have worked here even though I was only in the 1st grade of vocational school, what I can't forget is that I felt like they treated me like their own family, Mr Jocean and Mrs Ayu, I got a lot of lessons and knowledge from them, everything, whatever, for comfort there, don't hesitate, you definitely won't regret anything or lose anything, maybe that's all my story, because if the story continues it won't end in 199 episodes😁Best@ekologika@jocean@ibu ayu missyouu.(Abi)

got a recommendation for this place from a friend, finally decided to have an office outing hereAt first I was a bit confused, because there were lots of "rules" including recommendations for using transportation services to get to the locationIt turns out it's true, transportation options are important because the terrain to get to the location is quite magical.It's convenient to use Bluebird because the driver already knows the terrain (the road is really tight), including if it rains...Just arrived, got out of the car only carrying my body 🤣All suitcases and bags have been organized by the villa staff.First impression: NEAT and FRIENDLY way of managingLaff 🩷🩷The building is of course very natural but SUPER CLEAN, with the bonus of insects passing by, the sound of crickets and birdsPlease remember here we use a solar power source, so we save electricity, including only certain buildings that have access to electrical outletsApart from service that makes you happyThe choice of activities is REALLY TOP (cooking class, farm tour, hiking)It's fun, broAnd... what makes my heart extra happy is that ALL THE MEALS ARE SO DELICIOUS! EXTRA!

Stayed a weekend but wished we'd gone for a week. We absolutely loved it and would go again in a heartbeat. Staff is so welcoming & courteous. The food is phenomenal! We also enjoyed the guided hike up to a little mountain stream.

We just came away from one of the most gorgeous weekends staying at Portibi. Rarely have I left a place feeling like I have spent the weekend staying with family, but that really is the type of place Joe and Ayu have curated here. The entire experience, start to finish, is one that is the most accommodating and warm.The architecture of the ecolodge is extremely eclectic, a wonderful mix of natural pieces, each room uniquely crafted to allow you to feel like you’re in an oasis in the jungle. Numerous spots to hide away to read or ponder, you’re in a jungle paradise (so expect some creepy crawlies, it comes with the territory!)Most standout for me however, was the level of service. Attending to our every need, going above and beyond at any opportunity, and making such a personalised experience you really do feel like family.You will also not only never go hungry, you will be lucky to dine on some of the best home grown cuisines so creatively made from the team of wonderful staff. As a vegan, they ensured I was not only catered for, but thoughtfully considered. Vegan cakes at snack time, pancakes at breakfast, and soups and salads at dinner, I’ve never felt so attended to.The attention that is paid to their ecological footprint is at the forefront of the lodge. Make sure to ask, as it’s a wonderful lesson into conscious ecological tourism!The cosy communal bar and dining areas mean you have ample opportunities to converse with the other guests, and by design this place attracts so many interesting people.When you visit, you have to try Joes hand crafted fruity gins, their passion fruit and mountain mango infusions will leave you coming back for (many) more.Our final day was rounded of with the most wonderful short hike to a local waterfall where we swam in chilly mountain water.Sorry to leave, and excited to return, thank you to everyone at Portibi for making our stay feel like home, we’ll be returning for sure.

Amazing getaway from Jakarta.It would honestly be hard to find something to complain about this place. It’s one of those rare places where you feel at home, kinda like you live there.The food is locally grown and delicious, the cocktails are amazing and the owner has spectacular taste in music and the vinyl collection to match it.The owners pay an incredible amount of attention to both sustainability and guests’ comfort.

Staying from 9 March to 12 March 2023 at Portibi provided a very valuable experience, as guests we learned how to serve and help each otherthe team at portibi is very friendly, always ready to help and of course we were spoiled by the delicious food they provided (Good and Healthy)laughing and accepting others can be learned at Portibi..Thank you Mr. Joycean, Mba Heda, Mba Dwi and Mba Shantiand Puppy who always accompanied us walking in front of us..Hi Yeah!!!

If you want a quiet place and really get back to nature, this is the place. Very cool. Everywhere you were told to turn around. It's really good. Just getting to the location is homework. Hopefully, if you come here again with your family, there will be a pick-up from the hotel.
