Use of bonfire standIn front of you is vast Saroma Blue as far as the eye can see.Lake Saroma in Okhotsk has a calm surface.The only sounds you can hear are the cries of insects and wild birds.After parking in the parking lot, you can rent a trolley from the administration building to transport your luggage.Campers simply write down the number of people on a ledger at the administration building, which is open during the day.Although it is a simple site with only two toilets and two kitchens including the administration building, its location is excellent.Generally speaking, reservations are not possible, and it is a free site that is first come, first served. However, the campground offers a spectacular view of Lake Saroma right in front of you.At night, the starry sky and the lights of the many scallop fishing boats on the lake evoke a sense of travel.The leveled site surface is grass.There is some gravel in some areas, but it's not that noticeable.I stayed there during Silver Week during the September holidays, and even during this time of year, there were a lot of large mosquitoes coming towards me.Insect repellent and insect repellent preparations are a must.Although we did not have our food destroyed by wild animals such as foxes and dragons, it is prohibited to leave garbage or perishables unattended.The kitchen was generally kept clean, with no leftover food left unattended.As expected, there are fewer campers these days who have bad manners and make noise during the night.This campground was also full of experienced and serious campers, so we had a good time using the campsite by observing good manners.Although there is no resident caretaker, the restrooms and kitchen are clean and safe to use.

You used to be able to ride your bike there, but... .However, the view and atmosphere are wonderful.I bought scallops nearby and ate them with butter and soy sauce.I think the reason there are so many mosquitoes is because of the temperature.I've been using it for many years, over 20 years ago, and I've never had any trouble with mosquitoes.Maybe I only used it in the summer when it was cool.This will be resolved if you go when the maximum temperature is around 20 degrees Celsius.The place where I was attacked by mosquitoes on the shore of Lake Saroma was not here, but at Sanrihama.
