We are not registered on any reputable travel site and do not have a website, so reservations can only be made by phone. That may be a bit inconvenient from today's point of view, but it's simply wonderful and attractive, making you wonder how a really good inn naturally attracts people without flashy advertising. It was an inn. Historic buildings and well-maintained Japanese gardens are everywhere you look. In the alcove of the guest room, there are fresh flowers in tasteful vases, and a turtle on the hanging scroll. The view was wonderful, and the magnificent natural scenery of the Enokawa River and the Chugoku Mountains that I looked down on from the window was something to behold. And the food. Both dinner and breakfast were served on stylish tableware with fresh, local, seasonal produce that was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. I was also impressed by the thoughtfulness of the couple who ran the inn. thank you very much. All in all, it was an unforgettable stay. I would definitely like to go again.

It is not registered on travel sites, and reservations can only be made by phone. I tried to make reservations twice last fall, but was told that all weekends were fully booked. I wanted to make a reservation in early spring, when the new year was over and there was no need to worry about snowfall, so I asked them when they were available, and it turned out to be a certain day in March, so I made a reservation right away.Well, I can't write enough about how wonderful this inn is, so I'd like to just say it briefly, but first of all, the food was amazing. Ingredients are sourced fresh from the ground and each preparation is elevated to a level of perfection. For example, wild boar game meat is called ``Ochiyama Kujira'' in Misato Town, Ochi District. When you put it in your mouth, it has a melt-in-your-mouth texture and a taste that makes you think it's beef. The candied river fish is also the most delicious I've ever eaten. There is no "like" for all the dishes. The inn is housed in a feudal lord's mansion from the Edo period, and the southwest corner room is spacious with a series of Japanese-style rooms, and is also equipped with an indoor bath with the latest equipment. The remodeling of the building into a lodging facility has been done without compromising its character as a historical building. Amenities such as bath towels and toothbrushes are also provided.Although there are no modern services such as Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi spots in the vicinity are not detected), it is possible to enjoy the "happiness of having nothing" in this modern world where only silence flows slowly. This is a valuable accommodation. This is the perfect place to wash your soul.I won't go into details here, but there is a clear reason why my wife and I stayed at this inn. I thought this was probably the only inn in Kasubuchi, Misato Town that was aware of the area's past. I came here to put an end to a certain desire that I had been pursuing for nearly 30 years. The hospitality of the couple at the inn was wonderful, and I would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart for making the ``feelings'' that I had always held a reality.
