Stayed in October 2024. Relax in a hot spring in Rakusai, a little away from the city center and tourist attractions. Conveniently connected to Katsuragawa Station and Katsura Station, there are buses, shared bicycles (Hello Cycling), and shuttle buses. It's nice to be able to take a bath in the hot springs even before checking in. The recommended hot spring (men's bath) is the ``standing bath'' where you can stand in the neck-deep water and have a strong jet bath applied to your lower back and soles of your feet.We also recommend Soba Kiri Kogoro, located on the west side of Onohara Shrine, which is about 15 minutes away by shared cycle.

There are two types of hot springs, which is rare. I like sodium carbonate type because it is slimy and makes my skin smooth.

I come here more than once a month, but there are so many bugs in the open-air bath that I would like something to be done about it. Matsui Yamate is definitely better for bathing, but food and drink there are too expensive, so I come here for the whole day. Matsui Yamate might be a good place for a day trip. Eating and drinking costs a fair amount, so a bath stay costs 4,000 yen, and eating and drinking costs 4,000 to 7,000 yen.It takes every time. If you don't come because you have all-you-can-drink, you won't come. Carbonated springs are weaker than others.

When I came here when it first opened, there was no guidance, no friendliness, and the prices were high, so I thought I would never go there again, but I'm glad that the things that made me uncomfortable last time have been improved. The bath feels good. I ate at the buffet using a coupon, but it was neither good nor bad.

The quality of the water is a little slimy. It was nice that you could use as many towels as you like. You can relax until 3 o'clock. The downside is that there are no vending machines for Kirin, Coca-Cola, etc.

I usually enjoy day trips to hot springs, but this was my first time staying overnight as there was a cheap plan available only to LINE members. You can enter the hot springs before check-in, so you can relax even if you arrive at the hotel early.Although the room is a little old, it is well maintained and spacious, so you can relax and have a good time. The large public bath at the hot spring facility has not changed at all since before the renovation, but there are razors, a water cooler, and bath towels, and you can pay for meals with your room key when you check out. Since payment is required, guests can go to the public bath empty-handed from their rooms. It's a bit inconvenient not to have a coin laundry, but I think the facilities are good enough. It looks like I'll only be visiting the baths on a day trip for the time being, but I'd like to go back and stay overnight once I have a long vacation.

I went there because I got a free ticket, but I would never go there at the regular price. You can do it slowly, but it's still too expensive. The location is also inconvenient.

I used Manyo-no-Yu for a day trip.It has been renovated and is very beautiful. There was also a bedrock bath, and there were a small number of guests, so I was able to spend a comfortable time. Face towels, bath towels, and skin care products are also provided, so I think it's great that you can stop by empty-handed.There are only one bedrock bath for men and women, and one for women only, but I didn't have any problems with that. However, if I had to make a request, I would like the music in the bedrock bathroom to be changed to healing music (sea waves, river murmuring, birds chirping, etc.) instead of classical music. Surprisingly, classical music has no healing effect.I get tired listening to songs with intense piano music.I think that the healing effect will be further enhanced if you add aroma to it.The same goes for the healing room.
