This is hands down one of the best places I have ever stayed. The hosts are incredibly welcoming, and very enthusiastic about the home they’ve been restoring. we were greeted with a tour of the buildings and some history of the home. The rooms are absolutely stunning, very homely and comfortable. All but one rooms are futon beds on tatami mats. I had a great night sleep. The rooms at the back also have amazing views of Mt Aso.The hosts are clearly audiophiles because there is excellent speaker systems in every room and they’re happy to share them with you and allow you to use them. There is a karaoke system that was also available for use (which we did) and that was incredible fun.We also opted for the bbq option which was incredible. Some of the best food I’ve had since arriving in Japan. We tried to extend our stay but unfortunately they had other guests coming the next night. But I will definitely be coming back. What an incredible place

We stayed here for two days and were very satisfied. The 150-year-old house has been renovated to be comfortable and pleasant. The children are like Xiaoyue and Xiaomei in the story of My Neighbor Totoro. They run around and explore the house excitedly. They also play fairy wands in the evening and are very happy. The location is great and the scenery is beautiful. We have great memories here!

It is a century-old single-family house, but the hardware has been updated. Stepping into the house feels like going back to an ancient home. In addition to one Western-style room, there are two Japanese-style tatami rooms. The kitchen is equipped with air-conditioned breakfast and we can cook our own meals with electrical appliances. Everything is available. There is a reserved barbecue for dinner. The housekeeper will prepare the ingredients and cook them by yourself in the semi-open barbecue room next to the main building. It is very special that there is a shaved ice machine that can be used with the child to eat several bowls. The only small drawback is that the second floor is difficult to walk because of the wooden structure. Very obvious sound, highly recommend this unique accommodation

It is highly recommended that anyone who comes to Aso must come and experience it. The boss introduces the century-old building very kindly and carefully. There is a high-end sound projection for singing, and you can also order the barbecue prepared by the boss!

We are family tourists from Taiwan. It was our first time to visit Mount Aso and we chose this B&B. The owner and staff were very friendly and prepared the dinner with great care. We heard from the owner that the building has a history of 150 years. But it can still be preserved so beautifully. Thanks again to the boss for his enthusiasm and hard work.

Perfect stay + purchase extra dinner150 years of traditional Japanese architectureThe space is bright, no smell, and the furniture is well maintainedIn the torrent of historyYet you can feel the convenience of modern civilizationThe host of the B&B is equally generous and enthusiastic but will not put pressure on you to be overly enthusiastic. He will also use translation software to talk to you...If you come to stay, be sure to add some BBQ for dinnerBBQ in another oversized room full of atmosphereAccompanied by professional sound and huge curtainsGrilled meat similar to traditional Japanese robatayakiPaired with unparalleled delicious Japanese Wagyu beef and seafoodWhat more could you ask for in life than a husband? If you come to Aso City againThis is the first choice
