I ordered a standard kaiseki meal, and it was very filling, beautiful, and delicious. Dining here was a great choice. The room was in a new building, but it was clean and there were no problems.

I made a reservation to watch the Suigo Festival fireworks from my room, but I was told that I would have to walk for about 30 minutes to see them, and I couldn't even book a taxi.

Used for family travelThe hot spring water had just the right amount of water, so even though I can't take a long bath, I was able to enjoy it slowly. There were a lot of dishes, but the flavors were gentle and the variety was wide, so I enjoyed it without getting bored, although I did eat a little too much.We had a tatami room with a bed in it, and we ate in the restaurant, so although it was a ryokan, Mr. Nakai didn't come in and out of the room, so I think it was the best of both a hotel and a ryokan. The staff were all very pleasant.Considering the location and food overall, I think the cost performance is quite good.

I feel that the price is reasonable. The room was old and the air conditioner wasn't very effective, and since it was an old building, the stairs were steep and smelled musty. The slippers were old-fashioned and my mother is over 80, so she almost fell over.I wanted a jinbei type for the top and bottom other than the yukata. The food may be described as elegant, but in reality, the seasoning is too light. The grilled clam rice balls with chazuke had no scent of clams, and there was no soup stock, so it just felt like I was eating it with hot water poured over it.I regret staying here for 2 nights and 3 days because of the high reviews.

It was a wonderful inn with a historical feel.Although the building looks old, it is kept clean and has a retro atmosphere. It was raining that day, but the view from the room was great, and the room had a large window overlooking the Tamatsukuri Onsen town. The most important thing is the hot springs, which are natural hot springs fed directly from the source, so although the open-air bath was quite hot, it felt good. For the meal, I chose the in-room course, so I was able to enjoy the flavors at a leisurely pace, and not only did the menu include seasonal dishes, but I was also able to enjoy a course that allowed me to enjoy Shimane's local cuisine! The Nakai who was in charge of the service was also a very kind person who had good customer service and was easy-going.It was a great ryokan with everything from customer service, food, and hot springs, so I think you should definitely visit at least once.
