It was my first time staying there.Arifuku Onsen was a great hot spring town with a very elegant atmosphere, and the inn also had a retro feel, which was great. The renovated room was very beautiful. The water in the bath was slightly hot, warming me to the core of my body.I was a little confused at first because there was no Wi-Fi in the room and no bath in the room, but in the end it didn't bother me and I was able to relax.Breakfast was also very delicious.

I stayed on a weekday because I had paid time. The hot water in the public bath is relatively hot, and the long bath in midsummer is tough (^_^;)If I were to go next, I would like to go in the fall. However, I was able to hear Higurashi chorus singing from early in the morning, so it was worth coming during this season (you can hear it quite a lot even with the windows closed, so be careful if you are sensitive).

I've been going there for 28 years now. The hot water is good, you can drink draft beer at the izakaya-style counter after your bath, and the food is home-cooked and delicious. I feel most calm between the mountains. Maybe there is a zashikiwarashi?

Classic Japanese onsen in the mountains and the staff is top notch. It’s run by a mother and daughter Atsuko and Aya, that are both amazing hosts. Truly a gem of a place to stay, a long history with newly remodeled facilities set in the heart of of a mountain range.

It's about 10 minutes from Aquas. Park at a nearby free parking lot and walk a little. I used it for a day trip bath. The temperature of the water is hot. The quality of the spring water is good, but I thought that 1000 yen was a little expensive. The atmosphere is great ✨️

After the renovation, I had dinner with a cemetery fan. We entered the lovely entrance hall and were greeted by the proprietress.

If you want an out-of-the-way, authentic Japanese travel lodge with pure hot springs, flowing right out of the hillside underneath a 300 year old historic inn, then you will love this place! boutique, unique, and from the heart this has been in the family for many years and it’s one of those places that you pinch yourself that you arrived. Some of the rooms are Condé Nast traveler and other rooms are very typical with shared bathrooms and Tatame Floors. Either way, you’re deep in Japan.
