Matsue Universal Hotel main building

It was cheap, conveniently located in front of the station, and the staff were all friendly. It was a coincidence, but I had a great time in the train view room.

This hotel is located on the right after exiting the south exit of Matsue Station.Since the front desk is located semi-underground,You can't get there unless you go down the stairs.There doesn't seem to be any slope.Please contact the front desk during check-in/out times.We have a sufficient number of staff,At other times, it felt like a one-off operation, perhaps due to a lack of staff.Before check-in and after check-outI was able to keep my baggage, soit was very helpful.The room is showing its age.The shower hook was coming off,Water was seeping out from the base of the faucet.(The public bath seems to be closed for a long time, soThis hotel seems to have a weak plumbing system. )However, I was able to use the air conditioner and TV normally, soI didn't have any inconvenience while sleeping there.It is spacious for a single room,It was nice that there was a sofa in addition to the bed.There is one outlet under the mirror.Two at the foot near the door (this is probablySomething for the cleaning staff to power the vacuum cleaner.(It may seem like this, but I was able to use it without any problems).As other customers may think,The bad thing about the room is that there is no communication environment such as Wi-Fi!(There is a cell phone signal, so if you have your own line, there will be no problem.)If you want to use the Wi-Fi provided by the hotelYou have to go to the floor where the front desk is.There are two meals available: dinner and breakfast.I think it's a common menu,Considering the low cost of accommodation, you must be doing a great job.The coffee, juice, and salad bar were delicious.I stayed for consecutive nights, so200 yen cash back if you select "No cleaning"Please present your plan at check-in,I was able to stay even cheaper.thank you very much.I think it's a very cost-effective hotel,I would like to use it again.It seems like many parts are outdated.Many of these hotels have closed down due to the coronavirus pandemic.I hope this hotel continues as long as possible.This time I visited Matsue for the Matsue Water Light Route.It was convenient that the shuttle bus to the venue was located next to the hotel.

There are a lot of negative posts here, but people from the Showa era have no problems at all.The prices are reasonable because the equipment is old.If you have high demands, please stay at Onyado Nono.
