This was my first stay at Takeha in Yasugi City, Shimane Prefecture, which is my regular accommodation for business trips in the Sanin area, after it was renovated. I was surprised to see that it was a very stylish Japanese modern space!! ️Although the rooms are new, the charm of the delicious food, hot springs flowing directly from the source, and heartwarming hospitality remains the same☺️ This inn is one of the highest class inns I have ever stayed at.As for the cuisine, you can enjoy delicate authentic Japanese cuisine that uses local ingredients, mainly fresh seafood from the Sea of Japan, and the seasoning is exquisitely balanced. The main sake is local sake from Shimane Prefecture, and Yoshida Sake Brewery's Gassan Ougi (Daiginjo) is highly recommended. The proprietress is famous on TV, but each and every staff member greets you with a bright smile, so you can enjoy the restaurant even if you are alone. The location right next to the Adachi Museum of Art is convenient, but the inn is worth it just for the food and meeting the staff. The Adachi Museum of Art gets crowded during the day, so I highly recommend visiting it first thing in the morning! ! !

I am a person living in Wakayama City. On March 30th, around 10am, I was listening to a talk on a portable radio between a Kyoto landlady and a Yasugi landlady, along with the host. I especially enjoyed the story of Yasugi's landlady, or should I say she's a man's man...I fell in love with it.When I returned home, I learned about Saginoyu Onsen ``Takeha'' through ``Yasugi,'' ``The Landlady,'' and ``Loach Kikii.''I'm 73 years old, but I would like to go with my wife.Thank you for your understanding at that time. I'm definitely going...!

A few years ago, I took a customer service course with the landlady here for work, and I was finally able to stay at Takeha, which I had always wanted to stay at someday. Some people in the Kanto region may not be aware of Yasugi (I was one of them), but it is a wonderful land full of local specialties and is worth visiting at least once. Also, Takeha at Saginoyu Onsen, which I used this time, is a very nice inn and one I would like to come back to again.Located right next to the Adachi Museum of Art, the building is a good old Showa era inn, and although it is small, it is well maintained. The hot springs are colorless and transparent, but contain a small amount of radioactivity, and were originally used for hot spring treatments. The hot spring water is very smooth and soft and you can stay in it for a long time. Although the indoor and outdoor baths are small, you'll be happy to know that the water is 100% free flowing from the source. For my meal this time, I had the medicinal meal, and it was delicious. Healthy dishes that use plenty of local produce are not only good for the body, but also taste very delicious. Personally, I found the rice very delicious. My wife said it was the most delicious food she had ever eaten at a ryokan. Both the president and the proprietress have very warm personalities, and they taught us a lot of things as we were visiting for the first time, making us feel very comfortable. This has gone from being a place I wanted to stay at someday to a place I'm wondering when I'll stay next.We want it to continue to prosper, so we hope that many people will come and stay here.

It was my second time visiting Shimane Prefecture, but it was my first time visiting Saginoyu Onsen.I was very satisfied with the accommodation and the hot springs!Thank you for your courteous and kind customer service from check-in to check-out.I stayed for one night with dinner and breakfast included, and the food was very delicious, with many dishes using local rice, vegetables, and fruits, and I enjoyed each and every meal. (Before I knew it, I had finished both meals!)Above all, the people at the hostel were very nice and I was able to forget about the stress of the city and work and had a relaxing holiday.Thank you to the president, the landlady, and all the other staff members for your kindness. It was a time that warmed my heart and body as I experienced the warmth and kindness of people. The hot springs were fed directly from the source, and the temperature was just right, so I went back and forth between the indoor bath and the open-air bath, soaking in them many times.Although it was a personal matter, it was our first trip as a couple since we registered last month, so it was a wonderful memory for us.I would also like to hear from you.Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

This is a retro Showa inn right next to the Adachi Museum of Art. The rooms and facilities are old, but the host and landlady were very kind, the food was delicious, and the hot springs were very hot.

I used it on a solo trip in 2015. I visited from Kanagawa, and although it was a very far place, it was worth the time.Although it is a small inn, it was kept well-maintained and I had a relaxing time. Also, since the Adachi Museum of Art is right in front, you can also go sightseeing. The bath was a small bath, but there was also a private bath. In the private bath, a large amount of hot spring water came out of the faucet, and although it was very hot, it was refreshing. There was a lot of lime on the faucet, so it was fun to take a bath. And the food is great. We had a variety of drinks, and the room, bath, and food were all great. If I ever go to Shimane, I would like to stay with you again.
