I came here because I wanted to catch fish, go fishing, and bring my own BBQ.It was a weekday at the end of September, so it was empty, so the atmosphere was nice, and the restrooms were clean. There was no Docomo signal, so it was like I had to get one line or be out of range.Unfortunately, there was no hand soap.

2 adults, 3 children (elementary school students and preschoolers)I went without a car.I stayed at a cottage during the September holidays.★You can order BBQ ingredients for a minimum of 5 people.(Due to ordering issues, the minimum order quantity cannot be changed.)★Mobile radio wavesDocomo and Rakuten Mobile are out of service area (au seems to be too), but Softbank is connected. It's weak, but I have WiFi so I can handle it.★Bus timeThere is only one train per hour, so it's best to check your transfer time from the train in advance. If you book a taxi, it will cost an additional 900 yen for the transfer fee and reservation fee. (I contacted Kananaka Taxi)There is a nice roadside station next to the bus stop (Aikawa Town Hall) that is a 5-minute walk away, so it might be a good idea to get off one stop before and do some shopping.★Yama BuildingI thought about bringing a lot of things like salt spray, insect repellent, and lots of bansoko. My heart pounded as I passed through a damp area (several meters) from inside the campsite to Tanitaro River. It rained early in the morning, but I ran into her in front of the cottage on my way back from a walk after the rain. Sprinkle salt and fight back.★Shop (cash) 9:00-16:00We have BBQ rental equipment, plates, chopsticks, fire starters, etc.Sweets were not sold.beer, chuhai, ice, ice creamThere are tools for playing in the water. There are two vending machines at the campsite, but the popular juices are sold out by mid-afternoon.The shaved ice shop will be quietly open from 13:00.★River playBasically, the river is shallow, about below an adult's knees. However, the current can be fast and deep in some places, so be careful with small children. It was a hot day in mid-September, at 33 degrees, but the water was cold. It was shallow and there were no floats.★CottageThere are cooking utensils such as tableware, pots, frying pans, and rice cookers. (As per HP)I don't have towels and shampoo, so bring your own.The futon is so flimsy that it hurts my lower back.I thought it was just a shower, but there was also a bathtub, so I wish I had brought bath bombs.Check-out and BBQ reception start time overlap, so you'll have to wait a little while to check out. (Please pay attention to the bus time.)If you would like to leave early, please ask at check-in.★TourismOn the way back, we went to Lake Miyagase, took a pleasure boat, went to the dam, and played at Aikawa Park. Arrive at Hon-Atsugi by bus from Aikawa Ohashi Bridge. You can go without a car, but a stroller is a little difficult. This is a course that requires everyone to be able to walk and be physically fit.

It's a BBQ place with a long history, so it's naturally worn out in many places, but the water area has been renovated and is clean, and the employees are very kind, polite, and very pleasant to use. There is also a stream flowing below, where small children can play in the river, and there is also a small fishing pond, where the fish you catch will be gutted and skewered on the spot, so you can grill it and eat it.In the summer, they sell shaved ice, but the shaved ice made with homemade syrup is so delicious and addictive to say the least, that I always try it every time I go there.Above all, I can see that the employees are working hard, which is why I can feel that it is so popular every time I go there.

The price is definitely cheaper compared to other campgrounds.Until a few years ago, the communal toilet and shower room for the bungalows were dirty, but they have been renovated and are much better now.

Approximately 2 hours from Western Tokyo (Koto Ward and Edogawa Ward) on the Tomei Expressway. It's a wonderful environment. The skills of the staff wearing glasses are incredible. (Handling the customers who have come, and handling the fish they caught for grilling with salt)
