I stopped by for lunch. The lunch menu is small, with only tofu dishes, wild boar hotpot, deer hotpot, and grilled sweetfish. I ordered a tofu dish, but there were many options and I was able to get a second helping of rice. It was standard Japanese food, but it was delicious.

Peony hotpot and tofu gozen? I received it.Botan hotpot had a miso flavor, the boar meat had no smell, and the fat was refreshing! The atmosphere unique to a ryokan was also good. The problem was that the room was a little cold.

The hotpot and tofu were absolutely delicious, but as I love rice, there was far too little rice (;>_<;)If you have 1 cup of rice, half of it should go with the pot.It was such a delicious hotpot that I wanted to put half of it in the pot and make it into rice porridge.

Since it is only for lunch, I cannot rate the rooms. It's best not to expect much customer service since it's a ryokan, but without a reservation, we enjoyed tofu at the same time as game kaiseki with venison and wild boar!I ate tofu elsewhere and it was delicious. I feel like it's a ryokan because you can enjoy the atmosphere including the scenery 😁
