While retaining the good qualities of an old-fashioned inn, the facility itself has been renovated and I was able to spend my time in a new and comfortable space! The employees are kind and helpful, and the hot springs are rated 5-5, boasting the highest quality in Japan. The sea (bay) is about 7 minutes walk away, and you can enjoy the atmosphere of the sea.Depending on the season, Kagura is also held, so it might be a good idea to aim for that timing!

The location is slightly difficult to understand. No, it's clearly written, but it's not noticeable, or rather, I didn't know what it was, so I ended up stopping at a teahouse called Keiunsou lolThe lady explaining the room was bright and nice. The shelf that holds the yukata in the room smells musty. It's summer so I guess I haven't washed it since it hasn't been used in a long time, and the one I put on over my yukata smells like I couldn't even wear it lol.I think I like the baths on the stairs side, where there is an open-air bath where you can see far into the distance, and the baths are for men and women every day. The hot water is a bit dilute compared to Yakushiyu, but since it's available late at night, it's relaxing. There was a 24-hour coin laundry nearby which was helpful. If you like drinking, there are several bars that are open until 10pm, so I think it's a good idea to stay in Onsentsu.

2024.8.27First time at Tsu Onsen. This is the only open-air bath in Onsentsu Onsen. The hot water seems to be added to the Yakushiyu source. The customer service is very good and the rooms are clean. They recommended walking around town in a yukata and taking a bath at the nearby Yakushiyu and Motoyu. It was a good stay.It was delicious and I ate a lot of rice.

Thank you for taking care of me when I visited Tsu Onsen for the first time. When I made the reservation, I told them that my hip was not feeling well, so I would appreciate a high chair for meals, and they changed me to a sunken kotatsu type room, which was very helpful. When I was first shown to the room, I was given an explanation of the room's layout, but at that time I was told that the kitchen was located on the opposite side of the waiting room from the entrance. There was no explanation of the space, and I was a little nervous because I couldn't find the refrigerator. There was a large pot filled with cold water, so I didn't have to worry about drinking water, but I wish I had found it earlier so I could cool down the tea in the plastic bottle I had stocked up (I eventually found it). but)There didn't seem to be a dedicated ventilation system for the toilet and sink, and although there was a gap in the door between it and the verandah, it didn't feel like much cold air was getting through, so the toilet and sink were a bit hot (in the end) (I opened the toilet window to ventilate the room)As for the hot springs, they seem to be drawn from the nearby Yakushiyu. Also, the hot spring is only an indoor bath, and the open-air bath is an artificial hot spring using natural stones (the inn's website states that this is due to the small amount of hot water). The spring quality is brown and cloudy, with a high content of sodium and chloride ions.Compared to what I soaked in Yakushi-yu earlier, it seems to be a little milder. The men and women change at 11pm, and the bathing time is until 8:30am the next morning, so taking a bath the next morning may be a little hectic due to the breakfast time (though you just need to get up early). As for food, since it is a coastal town, seafood is the main food.In particular, the salt-grilled sea bream served fresh at dinner is exquisite. The medium-sized sea bream was full of flavor and I ate everything except the bones. There is also a sake comparison set of local brewery ``Kaishun'' to help you enjoy the sake.I was surprised that squid sashimi was served at breakfast (although it was a small squid). We had breakfast and dinner in our room, but since we were in a separate guest room, we had to use an extension phone to order additional alcohol for dinner, and it took a while to get out of the horigotatsu and go to the phone each time. It was a pain (although I don't think there is a better system out there. It might have been better if the extension phone was wireless)Since it is a separate guest room, you approach the room through a passageway that resembles a breezeway, and the flooring of the hallway is made of cushioned sheet-like material nailed to the floor. When the nail head accidentally hit the sole of my foot, it felt quite painful. There are some parts where the edge of the sheet is turned up, and I got caught there as well. From then on, I made sure to be careful when walking (maybe there were slippers, but I didn't see any when I checked in).Overall, although there are some areas that would like to be improved, I think it is a good inn with excellent hospitality.

It stopped in the outbuilding. You can take a bath in the main building. The water was nice. Moderate temperature, not hot. Please note that many restaurants are closed on Mondays, as meals are served outside. The service at the inn was good.

The food and hot springs are great.Temperature settings for air conditioners in the buildingI would appreciate it if you could lower it a little.Hot springs where men and women switch placesWhen going up the stairs, for those who have difficulty walking. Not suitable. It's scary because the lights are off after 11pm 😱I would like them to at least turn it on in the hallway. However, it has become one of the hot spring inns that I would like to come back to.The quality of the water and the service at the hotel were so good (^^)

We stayed in late July.It was a very nice inn with good hospitality. There are two types of hot springs, and the genders are reversed at 11pm.The hot springs flowing directly from the source were very pleasant.I took the open-air bath at night, so I didn't really go in because I don't like insects lol.Breakfast was also delicious.
