I stayed solo for one night on April 22nd-23rd. It was Saturday and Sunday the week before Golden Week, and I was the only user, completely solo. On this day, the wind was strong and the wind was hitting sites 7 and 11 with a good view of Mt. Daisen, so I gave up and set up my tent at site 5, which was surrounded by trees.It's a very good campsite with a clean kitchen, clean toilets, free showers, and AC power.

In the forest. It's quiet and has a nice atmosphere with the occasional sound of deer. Burnable and non-combustible garbage can be removed by purchasing a special garbage bag at reception. However, there are two difficult points. There is almost no signal. 1 at Docomo, 0 at Sofuban. Live streaming is absolutely impossible. It may be good for people who want to get away from their smartphones, but the manuals for modern tents are only available online, so some people may not be able to set up a tent without a signal. The worst thing was the stink bug. It's not that the campground is bad, but if you have a bonfire in your tent, there are dozens of them, and they'll come crashing into your tent and make a bad smell. It would be a good site if it wasn't for that.

As for the maintenance, the roads are not well maintained and there are weeds growing on the roads, but the camping area is in good condition.I appreciate that you can use the shower for free. There were some places where the streetlights were about to burn out and were blinking, and there were a few places where the water area hadn't been cleaned, but if you think of it as the real pleasure of camping, I think it was a plus for me.The road to get there is quite narrow, so I think you should be careful about that.

A campsite where you can enjoy natureFacilities are minimal so you can enjoy outdoor life to the fullest.I'm happy to pick up trashI'm a Softbank user, but the signal was very difficult to get, and when it rained, I couldn't get it at all.If you forget something, it might be difficult to go to a home improvement store or supermarket, which is about a 10-minute drive from the campsite, so be sure to stock up on things before you go.

The manager's response was very polite and I was able to use the facility with peace of mind. Each site has AC power. I used it on my bike, but it's spacious enough to fit 2-3 cars. The mountain road we are heading towards is quite narrow, so it might be difficult for large vehicles to reach it. Apparently it's open even in the winter, so you can have a relaxing time camping on the snow. Please note that Rakuten Mobile only has one radio wave.

There is nothing special about the facilities, but it is a campsite where you can relax and take your time. People looking for high standards may be better off looking elsewhere.
