Telephone support is very poor. The owner is Korean and has lived in Japan for 30 years, but he can't speak Japanese at all. He talks to me from above, which makes me very uncomfortable. I definitely don't want to stay there.

⭐︎I'll give it 5! I used it to go to Mt.I stayed in a dormitory, but it was spacious, clean, and comfortable.Block out snoring from other rooms with earplugs or earphones. The owner was very personable and the facilities were well thought out.Even women can use the dormitory with peace of mind.

Great value and hospitality! Because the area is relatively isolated from major traffic (a reason people come here!!) there are not as many offerings for restaurants, cafes, or convenience stores. So, the BaseCamp's Food Court is a welcome offering for dinner, especially after 5 pm. Most places in the area are closed by 4:45-5 pm! There is no grocery store nearby. The Food Court offerings are very reasonably priced (JPY1000 to JPY3000), very tasty, and have a good assortment of choices. One of the memorable ones is the Rotisserie Chicken! It took 3 hours to roast. The meals come with a good selection of side dishes, pickles, and even a fruit dessert. Healthy, colorful, and a great value. Beverages are free all day, pour over coffee is JPY200, and beer is also offered. The host and hostess, a husband and wife team, welcomed me warmly, showed me the place (which is huge, by the way), offering me immediately a glass of cold water since I'd just dragged my rolling luggage uphill. They're very meticulous, friendly, and very willing to share what is available of the area.I especially like the renovations they did - the dorm sleeping berths are beautifully wood and shoji screened, precise and ikigai. The mattress is the perfect amount of support and not squishy soft! Most hostels' / guest houses' pillows are flat and terrible, but BaseCamp's are supportive and have a shape. There are cubbies for each guest, as well as hangers. The separate private tatami rooms have double doors, to keep the noise level down.Laundry is JPY800 and you fill up a laundry bag, which is washed all together and dried all together, so no sock will go missing! Walking sticks are available by the door for the hike up Mt. Daisen. I recommend going up before noon, as it takes longer than one would think! The peacefulness, beauty of the mountain and trees, the buzzing of the cicadas all made my five day stay refreshing and rehabilitating. It is also cooler at the side of Mt.Disliked · Because I was there for five days (which is a pretty long time for a stay apparently), I would have had a chance to really experience everything, good, bad, indifferent, but I couldn't find anything at fault. I highly recommend this guest house!!!OK, maybe some snoring kept me awake, but that's what happens at ANY dorm / shared sleeping space.

very good hospitality and delicious foodHowever, it is a problem on the customer side.At 2 a.m., I was woken up by the sound of people walking back and forth between the lobby and the room in their slippers. Apparently he went to Mt. Daisen to see the sunrise, and was busy reading his diary, but by now it was time for him to sleep. If it's 4 or 5 in the morning, I can't help it as a climber, but if it's 2 in the morning, I'd like you to stay in the car.If you're going to go out, I think it's good manners to sneak around in socks instead of wearing slippers, and to not go back and forth too many times. .Unfortunately, I can't give you a perfect score because I didn't get enough sleep because of the customers who had bad manners.

Located at the entrance to the hiking trail of Daisen, one of Japan's top 100 famous mountains, it is the best place for hiking and trekking. There are many Korean menus in the food court, and the Korean owner is very friendly. Great value for money and excellent service!! After climbing Daisen Snow Mountain in February...

1. I was worried because it was in capsule form. There is plenty of space so you don't feel stuffy at all. Personally, I prefer hotels, but the cleanliness, even the areas you can't see and can't pass by, is superb.2. The boss has high sense of responsibility and pride. Contrary to appearance, he is very friendly. A friendly style^^😁3. Connected to the walking trails around the accommodation and the Daisen hiking trail. Easy access to nearby hot springs and commercial districts. The parking lot is spacious. Please note that you must be careful when eating breakfast. It’s so delicious.☺️The mummy puppy on the first basement floor is so gentle.I can fall in love.*Overall review: This is a place I want to visit again every season and an accommodation I would like to introduce to my friends.Even if you are a woman traveling alone, you can feel safe and the owner takes great care of you. I recommend traveling to Korea.^^Review of what I bought with my own money~~~

It is located in an old forest in a national park.A wonderful place that makes your eyes happy and your head clear.Bedding and overall facility management are cleaner than those of a 5-star hotel.Washbasin, shower room, and toilet are comfortableMeals are plentiful, with breakfast, dinner, Western food, and Japanese food.Deliciously served, side dishes, rice, and soup can be refilledIt’s a great place without any reproach~!
