This is a guesthouse where you can stay cheaply in Yakushima.The host and landlady of the inn were kind and kind and took great care of us.Although the signboard and Rakuten Travel state that it is only for women, as of August 2024, men are also accepted (confirmed with the host).You can also borrow the washing machine in the changing room for free.It's about a 15-minute walk from downtown Miyanoura, but there are supermarkets and izakaya nearby, so it's convenient.This is the hotel I would like to stay at next time I come to Yakushima.

The inn uses a lot of wood throughout, making the soles of your feet feel comfortable. The friendly owner was kind enough to ask for some newspaper to dry his shoes after climbing in the rain. The facility is well-cleaned and you can feel that consideration has been taken everywhere. (You don't have to worry about the fact that it's only for women unless you're accompanied by someone else.) It was an inn that was worth more than the price.A bus stop called "Eidan" is a 2 minute walk away.There is an early morning bento shop nearby, but reservations are required!The owner (male) came into the common room around 7:30 to clean up (both days), so it might be difficult for people who are sensitive to private matters.

Thank you for your continued support last year. The owner is very kind and leaves us alone in a good way. The rooms, communal toilets, baths, and kitchens are all clean.

I used it after traversing Mt. Miyanoura.The rooms and common areas are all clean and you can do your laundry.I have nothing to say about the facilities or the price, but the owner is amazing!They were very kind and accommodating.I also talked with my mountain friends about how good it was to stay here in Yakushima.The kusamochi I received as a service was something I didn't see anywhere else, but it was very delicious.

I called them several times to ask various questions, and they responded very well.There is a large parking lot behind the inn.There is a washing machine in the changing room, so you can wash your clothes while taking a bath.There were also towels in the changing room that I could use.There are delicious food restaurants and bento shops within walking distance. There was a supermarket just a short drive away, which was very convenient.

It was my first time to Yakushima, but it was a quiet place in the middle of the bus, and there were restaurants and a supermarket nearby, making it the perfect place to stay without meals.
