It is run by a very kind owner and his wife. Although it has a homely atmosphere, the customer service does not leave you alone, and the customer service is just right, making it a safe choice even if you are traveling alone.

After my children became independent, I turned my slightly larger home into a guesthouse. The breakfast and dinner, prepared by the very kind and friendly hostess, are delicious and typical of Yakushima, and you can enjoy the charm that you can't find at a hotel. It's a really nice and comfortable guesthouse. It's a normal house layout, so the bathroom on the second floor, washing machine/dryer (200 yen per 30 minutes), and small refrigerator may be shared with 2 or 3 groups. There is also a water cooler and a covered drying area on the second floor, which is helpful. It's a regular house, so it's good manners to be quiet after 9pm. From the parking lot about 20 meters away, go through a narrow alley. A beautiful irrigation canal with crabs along the way? There, children can enjoy crab fishing. Please note that the hallways and stairs in the building are not wide, so you will have to carry large suitcases up with both hands.

It's a very homely inn. Since you eat a lot of food, it's a good idea to keep your body moving during the day by climbing or diving. You can also take part in a sea turtle nesting tour.
