I used it for a dinner party with my 1 year old grandson.Perhaps because of the heat, my grandson was not in a good mood from the moment we arrived, but since this was reserved for one group, we were able to enjoy our meal in a relaxed manner without having to worry about other guests. The menu focuses on pesticide-free vegetables grown at the Ota residence. Anyway, I was impressed by how strong the flavor of the vegetables was. The many dishes that brought out the flavors of the ingredients were so delicious that they seemed to sink into my tired body from the intense heat.My grandson, who was in a bad mood, suddenly changed his mood when he saw a carp swimming in the pond inside the Ota residence and exclaimed, "There's a fish!" We also fed the carp, and after that we enjoyed walking around a bit, as if exploring the spacious Ota residence.I would love to visit again in a different season.

I visited for 3 days and 2 nights from August 12th to 14th, 2024. I was impressed by the stately and spacious mansion, the well-kept garden, and above all by the warm hospitality of the couple. It was a wonderful holiday where the family was allowed to relax in a spacious mansion, the food was very delicious and somewhat comforting, mainly made with pesticide-free vegetables, and the night was full of stars. Although it was my first time in Tottori, I was given detailed guidance and fell in love with Tottori. I would love to visit you again. thank you very much!

This was my first time staying at Ota House.Thank you very much for your help in adjusting the dinner time and menu in time for the Hamasaka Fireworks Festival. The food was also very delicious. The gardens, buildings, and rooms are all part of Japan Heritage, so I wanted to look at them all the time. It was also wonderful that only the bath, sink, and toilet had been renovated to the latest specifications. thank you very much!

Each dish was very delicate and very delicious. All the ingredients were additive-free, so I was able to eat with confidence. This time I traveled with my children, and they paid close attention to every detail, and we were able to spend a relaxing time.At the end, we took a commemorative photo in front of the golden folding screen. The atmosphere of the room, the garden, and the furniture were wonderful.

This time I used it for meals and breaks. They consulted us about various things at the reservation stage and were flexible regarding the ingredients (halal) used.I was very satisfied with the heartfelt dishes that were served using plenty of home-grown vegetables. It was a wonderful space where you could feel the spirit of the craftsmen of the time, with houses built over 100 years ago, furniture, sliding doors, folding screens, etc.I would like to use it for my next stay.

It was certified as a Japanese Heritage Site on May 20, 2019. It had already been certified as a nationally registered tangible cultural property, but this is an additional certification. It also became the venue for Dining Out Tottori Yazu. Although the venue was changed due to rainy weather, it was very well received by the participants. It is also used for accommodation and events. Café Hitotsuyama is also open, so please check the opening hours before going out. Please note that the entire facility may be reserved for events, etc., so please check in advance. The parking lot is on the Tottori City side, but the entrance and exit are narrow, so please be careful m(__)m
