Rating 3.5❇️💫I wanted to experience an authentic sand bath at least once in my life, so this is the place I chose among the many Ibusuki hot springs. What caught my attention was the variety of spas. In addition to the baths, rock baths, esthetic massages, etc., Ibusuki also has sand baths...Hmm...Alpha 21, Ceramic Spa...? I made a reservation and arrived by my own car. There is Bettei Amafuru Oka nearby, but if you are like me and want to take a day trip to the baths and experience it, you should go to Ibusuki Bay Hills HOTEL & SPA. (I didn't know where to go, so I went to Tenfuru Oka first, but was told to go here.) Parking is free for those using the building, and sand bath users can use the shower room and observation bath for free. (I wonder if it's to remove sand or if it's a service. Thank you. At that time, I chose 3 spas and the baths were available as a service.) I told the front desk which one of the many spas I wanted to use, and depending on its location in the spacious main building, Each room has its own spa. Fees can be paid in advance and you can pay by cash or credit card. You can move around the facility according to the staff's guidance, or you can choose to leave it to us. I will only list the contents of the three that I experienced, along with the price for a single session.Alpha 21...1,200 yen - Get into an oval capsule on your back and do a full body vibrator for about 25 minutes. The heat and vibration inside the capsule can be adjusted by yourself.Alpha 21 is available at other facilities, but if you have never used it, why not try it out here?Ceramic spa...2300 yen, 10 minutes, it's like a sand bath-style spa where you enter a small plastic shape in a dimly lit room, unsure of what it is at first. When I looked closely later, I saw that it was a sweet plum mint! one person commented. Similar in color, shape, and hardness. This experience can only be experienced here and nowhere else. I wanted to experience the whole sand bath experience (not the sweet Ume Mints), so naturally I chose this place to experience something other than a sand bath. After the experience, the hot spring water gushes out, allowing you to check for impurities and sebum, and washing thoroughly makes it more hygienic.Sand bath: 1,300 yen, about 10 to 15 minutes, all-weather type with a roof, the feel is just like sand at the sea or in a park, but warm → hot (as much as you can endure) and you'll sweat. The flow is sand bath → shower room → observation bath.I have experienced a rice bran bath in the past, and at that time I did not feel the blood flow pulsating, but this time, while experiencing the ceramic spa and sand bath, I felt that the blood flow was becoming more active. Ta.Observatory bathhouse: There are 3 hot springs connected to each other: sauna (with sauna mat), cold bath (not too cold), and bathtub. The outside bathtub with two doors has a Japanese cypress bath style. There are also hair washes, the shower is a good one with a sauna eagle that you can switch between, and the hair dryer is a good one that is used by the hairdresser in the Spa Mezza Sendai restroom. There is a water server in the changing room.I don't know if the observation bath can be used for free if you only use the sand bath or if you use just one, but being able to enjoy the observation bath is worth ❇️. It's nice that the inside of the hotel is luxurious, but it's so spacious that you can't tell unless you ask where the front desk is (or you won't be able to find it), and since it's a hotel, day-trippers who aren't staying overnight want to feel free to use the restaurant or rest area, but they don't want to stay long. Maybe it's rude (it's hard to say)... Our strength is the ceramic spa that can only be experienced at Ibusuki Bay Hills Hotel & Spa. Although it has a luxurious feel, it lacks a bright and welcoming feel. This evaluation is based on the evaluation and content that I used only for day trip baths at that time.
