It was a small guesthouse filled with old-fashioned warmth. The building seems old, but it was well-maintained and clean. The Japanese-style room and the wood grain in the hallway had a calming atmosphere.Although it was our first experience, we bought some ingredients at a nearby supermarket and made and ate breakfast ourselves. There was a refrigerator and seasonings, and the kitchen space was easy to use.The host of the inn was also a nice person and treated us to delicious coffee. The sight of carefully pouring hot water into freshly ground coffee beans and watching them drip quietly is full of Ibushigin's charm. He also played the guitar and sang his own songs."I'm on a journey right now."This is an inn where you can immerse yourself in such sentiments.I would like to stay here again when visiting Yakushima.

When I decided to travel to Yakushima, I booked this inn based on a recommendation from someone who had been staying in Yakushima for a year.Impressions of the accommodation belowWe received the best hospitality from both the equipment and the master.Due to various circumstances, check-in was scheduled to be at 6:30 pm, but it was moved to around 9:30 pm, but please feel free to come at any time for a word from the master. He kept the living room warm and explained the situation in detail, even though it was late.I haven't had dinner yet, so are there any restaurants open? I was surprised in a good way when the master took me in his car and took me around to the shops that were open. And for the remaining two days, they were always waiting for me when I got home, making me coffee and giving me presents, and teaching me all the things I didn't understand about the island.I was so moved when I came back from the Jomon Cedar tour and they even had a hot bath waiting for me.Master's response was a memory that I will never forget.I stayed there from December 25th, but the weather was so stormy the day before that people who had made reservations had to cancel their reservations, so I was the only one who reserved the guesthouse for 3 nights. So I didn't interact with other customers at all, and maybe because I was alone I was treated so politely. However, although I have been to guesthouses on many islands, I have never had a guest do something like this, so I was very happy.Accommodation information below3500 yen per nightThe room is 6 tatami mats in size, and each room has a bookshelf with lots of books. The room with a living kitchen and a large table is covered with books. There is also the master's favorite guitar. The kitchen facilities are perfect and you can cook your own meals.Another tatami room has a living room with a TV and sofa, and a common space where you can relax. The toilet is a pump type. There is one bath. Towels are provided. There is also space to store rental cars and rental bikes. It's located in a village, so you might get lost for a moment, but if you use the signboard in the photo as a guide, you won't get lost even at night.I don't think the location is bad if it's around Miyanoura. The shared spaces, rooms, toilets, baths, and kitchens were all clean and I felt comfortable.I was not at the inn most of the day and at night, but I am very grateful to you for taking good care of me.I will definitely stay here again next time.

It was a very good inn, with heartfelt kindness, cleanliness, a good sense of distance, and just the right amount of facilities (air conditioner included). …

There is a common room and a backpacker-like atmosphere. Your friends at the inn will naturally become friends. Although the host is not always present, he is friendly, easy to talk to, and warm-hearted. There are also tons of books. I was issued a coupon for travel support!Unfortunately, there is no Wifi and there is no TV in the room. Also, it was next door across a sliding door, so the sound was through the roof. I can also hear a small cough. Some of the rooms have kitchens, perhaps because of the original structure of the house. There was also a kotatsu in the room. lolThe bathroom and kitchen have an old Showa-era feel. The toilets are clean. It's a little far from the main street, but the supermarket is a little far, but within walking distance. Food and drinks are nearby.

People staying at the inn can get along very well with each other. The owner is also a really kind person who can tell you a lot of information about travel. It's a rural area so there are bugs sometimes. However, I stayed there for 5 nights and didn't see any big spiders.I don't like insects so it was totally fine 😳💖It seems that some people won't come to Yakushima if the accommodation here is not available ♡It seems to be a very popular inn, and I liked it too♪
