The plumbing equipment was old-fashioned, and there was noticeable damage to the wallpaper, but the common spaces had been renovated and had a calm atmosphere. The public bath seemed a little small compared to the size of the guest rooms, but it seemed like the users were spreading out their use, so it wasn't crowded. As for food shops, there are many expensive ones around the hotel, and you won't find cheap chain stores unless you go along Route 50, so it can be a bit difficult. One more thing: For train users, it's farther from the station than you might imagine, and it's even further away than it looks on the map, so keep that in mind.I took a bus from Mito Station directly to the prefectural office for 400 yen, and when I checked out I took a taxi (because traffic was expected to be disrupted due to the approaching typhoon), but it was shockingly expensive.

I went to buy a local keychain. There is a convenience store in front of you.
