2024/3/16It was my first time camping in a while.Although it was mid-March, the nights were still cold.It was still an easy to use campsite.Although it rained during the night, the scaffolding at the auto site remained undisturbed, and the next day's demolition went smoothly.ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー2023/5/5This is my 4th time using it.It was my first time using it in May, but it was relatively warm, so I didn't have any trouble with the temperature. However, I always suffer from strong winds. This time as well, we attached a side curtain to the free-standing one-touch turf to block the wind.My co-workers and their families were there too, so it seemed like the kids were having fun playing with the same age group.ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー2022/8/10I was able to take some time off early, so I visited again. My impression this time was hot. I brought a circulator, but it was hot.The wind was strong, probably because a typhoon was approaching.Since it was before Obon, there weren't many people using it, so it was nice to be able to keep our distance.Last time, a stray cat or something scavenged the garbage I had taken out at night, so this time I made sure to put it in the car when I went to bed.As a result, there was no damage from scavenging.ーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー2022/2/26It was a relatively good campsite.I used Autosite. It comes with a power supply, so you can keep yourself warm with an electric blanket during the cold months.I think it would be good to use a fan in the summer. The site was grass and dirt. Aluminum or iron pegs will stick without any problem. The kitchen also has hot water, which is helpful during the cold months. The toilet was also relatively clean. It was nice that the Western-style one also came with disinfectant. As others have written, is it located on the east side of the mountain? The sun sets early in the winter, so if you're not used to setting up a campsite, you'll have to come in early, set up a campsite, and use a bonfire to warm yourself up, otherwise you'll have to fight the cold.Overall, I think it's a good campsite, but since it's at the foot of Mt. Tsukuba, you can hear a little loud exhaust noise every night, including 2-stroke exhaust. The distance between sites is also close. Also, the administration building was quite far from the auto site, and it was uphill.I don't think this is the campsite's fault, but as you can see in the photo, there are animal footprints in the kitchen, and I wonder if there is a stray cat. That's what I thought, but there was someone washing the dog in the sink in the kitchen. And twice. It may be that your pet has a medical condition and needs to be washed, but why not wash your pet in the space where you prepare meals?Even though washing with hot water is fine, I thought I should bring a colander or something for my pet.I no longer want to use the sink behind the vending machine at Autosite.
