Although you have to go there by car, it feels like an unexplored area, a hideout, or something that only those in the know know.The surroundings are quiet and it feels like there is nothing. My heart became very calm.Since we were given the entire building to rent, we had the illusion that there were no other guests besides us.The meals were sumptuous with salt-grilled kinki mushrooms for dinner and salt-grilled willow flounder in the morning.The landlady said, ``It's a run-down shop...'' but it's rather quaint. The bathroom was retro and nice. The spring quality is also good.Recommended for an adult hot spring trip.

Just like the inn from my childhood. It's retro or really Showa. The food had just the right amount of food, and I finished 5 bottles of local sake. If I had literary talent, I would like to write poetry.

You can eat the bones of the Kinme Tai grilled fish. delicious. We enjoyed the dishes that go well with local sake. The hot springs have a feel of the Taisho era. Even though it's old, it feels romantic. I will go again.

The atmosphere is just as others have posted. A valuable experience where you can enjoy the atmosphere of the Meiji era...The hot water is rich in iron, so much so that your hair gets frizzy and your towel turns brown when you soak in it.The restaurant is run by a husband and wife, and both of them were polite and kind.

This is a retro Showa-era hot spring inn with a familiar appearance. This time I only used it for a day trip, but it was a great location. It was very warm in the hot springs that tasted like iron. I will cook again.

♨️ Is the hot spring tomato juice ♨️Shika-no-Yu in the mountains of Kitaibaraki City is listed in my favorite strange famous hot springs... Just the name of the inn makes my brain water 💦. From the outside of the inn, you could feel the Hinaizumi feeling. At check-in, we were greeted by a beautiful and friendly landlady.I quickly changed my clothes and went to the tomato juice hot springs that I was looking for.When I entered the bathhouse, I was impressed by the Taisho Roman style - retro, high-color wooden window frames and stained glass windows that let in light. In the center of the bathhouse is a tile painting depicting the legend that a deer discovered it. The bathtub is made of polyester and is light blue, a choice that seems to destroy the Taisho Romantic worldview that spreads throughout the bathhouse. This imbalance has a strong visual impact, making it a truly strange famous hot spring👍🏻There was only one electric light in the bathhouse, so it was quite dark at night. Only a small amount of light comes in through the stained glass. However, this darkness is just right ☝🏻 Close your eyes and relax while feeling the darkness of the bathhouse and the heated cold mineral springs on your body ☺️Since I stayed overnight, I took a bath at various times in the morning, evening, and night, but the atmosphere was the best at night 🌈The only inconvenience was...the cell phone signal was poor. Also, I had to carry my valuables with me every time I went to the indoor bath because the only key to my room was the inside key. Well, it all boils down to Hinaizumi.⭐︎Simple iron cold mineral spring

Thank you for staying the night.The fish (kinki) is very fatty and delicious.The rice is fluffy and soft, and I recommend it if you like Japanese food.As others have written, I only recommend it to people who want to be healed by the countryside itself.There is no wifi and there is a charge for TV. There are also insects.I cannot recommend it to people who are dissatisfied with that.

It was a very quiet place. At night I could only hear the sounds of insects. The amount of food was adequate and the taste was delicious. The hot springs were so warm that I couldn't stop sweating. You can do it slowly.

Just the right amount of food and delicious grilled fish 🐟 The mineral spring bath ♨ was reddish brown and I took it 3 times. The retro-style rooms are built from the Meiji era and have a perfect atmosphere. I could feel the warmth of the elderly couple.

If you want to take a relaxing bath and eat delicious fish in a calm and quiet place, please come here.This is not suitable for people who want to have fun with their children. If anything, I think it's better to travel alone or as a couple.No more distractions. It's probably best not to look at your cell phone as much as possible.It's cool even in summer. I don't need an air conditioner.

Please use this as a personal opinion for reference only.I wanted to visit this inn if I had a chance.I was hesitant due to the social situation, accommodation situation, etc.This time it was a day trip to the hot springs, but I felt happy and comfortable in my own way.I was moved by the bathhouse full of Meiji romance, and when I thought about how people used it back then, it was just a day trip to the hot spring...I was filled with such emotions☺️The hot water wasn't too hot and I was able to enjoy the smell and feel of a mineral spring, which really impressed me. I didn't put the towel inside the towel, as it would stain it (^^)The bathtubs have changed from wooden to tiled to the current acrylic bathtubs, and I think it's a sign of the times because of the quality of the spring water.Those who use this place feel like they have traveled back in time.This is an inn and hot spring that only those who want to feel the history of the past should come and feel the romance.Those who are looking for a systematic sense of fashion should refrain from purchasing this product.This is my personal opinion.We also need to think about what the thoughts of the ancients have given us today.Come, see, feel, enjoy, and listen to the story ☺️

I stayed there two years ago in the fall. I wasn't born in the Showa era, but I liked the retro atmosphere of the Showa guesthouse. It was run by an elderly couple, and the landlady served customers kindly.The food was delicious, and the hot spring water was a rare red color that warmed my body.There are stink bugs, so if it wasn't for that I would give it 5 stars lol. I want to go again.

I visited on a day trip to take a bath.At the time of reception, we checked where you were coming from, so customers from far away may have been turned away.Although the exterior looks old, the interior, including the hallways, is surprisingly clean. I borrowed the restroom, which had been renovated into a Western style and was easy to use.In addition, hand sanitizer was installed in several places as a countermeasure against the coronavirus, and there was also a sign that said, ``Please disinfect before and after using the hair dryer.'' I got the impression that this type of inn is taking proper precautions. .This bathhouse has a very unusual structure, with cute colored glass, retro floor tiles, and light blue wood. The tension rises to the ceiling! The bathtub is soaked with plenty of mineral spring ingredients, and that alone sets high expectations for the hot water.I couldn't find out the details because there was no analysis chart at the bathhouse, but I was sweating profusely even after a short bath, and I felt warm even after I got out of the bath. It wasn't thick or anything, and the scent wasn't too strong or unique, so it was easy to get into.At the end, we had a can of tea. It seems like they keep it warm in the winter. I'm casually happy for someone like me who doesn't like cold drinks...(^^)It seems to be quite popular as there were customers before and after me. We recommend calling to check availability by phone before going.As a fan of retro inns, I would definitely like to stay overnight next time.
