A walnut shop located in Hokota City, not far from Oarai. This inn is famous for its monkfish hotpot, and the monkfish season is from October to March, and the signature dog is a Shiba Inu called Hime-chan (born March 3).After I was given an explanation about the lodging and various accommodations, I immediately played with Hime-chan and read a book in my room. The building is an inn building that gives you a sense of the times, but the inside of the rooms have been renovated and are well-maintained, making it a comfortable stay.Dinner is, of course, all about monkfish, served in the room. First of all, we were served [Friend vinegar], [Funamori], [Monkfish hotpot], and we also had beer and local sake, but the conversation vocabulary was so delicious that the words such as [delicious/awesome/suitable/good to be healthy] were insufficient. Well...it's so delicious that I'm speechless. As we proceeded with the cooking, warm dishes such as [grilled flounder] and [fried flounder with sweet and sour sauce] came out. When we finished the side dishes, the hostess made porridge for us, and the soup and rice were well-infused with the flavor of the monkfish. It was a perfect match and I was able to sleep with a full stomach. The next day's breakfast was very satisfying with all the side dishes that went well with the rice, such as grilled fish (mackerel this time), dashimaki omelet (homemade and warm), and chopped natto.Everyone at the hotel was friendly and told me about various sightseeing courses and things to do in Ibaraki these days. They had a personality that made me want to talk to them more, so I decided to come back! !KURUMI-YA is culinary inn located in Hokota City, near from O-arai.
