Mid-September 2024 Holiday stay. This is a recently renovated inn.The location is in Oarai Magamatsu, and you will need to take a local bus to get there. This time, 3 people stayed in the room "Kumatsu".The room feels spacious enough to accommodate 3 people. The room was equipped with a bathroom separate from the large bath. There is also a toilet inside the room. The big difference from before is that a bed has been installed. This room has a projector and a large screen TV, which you can watch from reclining seats. Other facilities include Wi-Fi, pots and glasses, a refrigerator, and a hair dryer. All amenities are provided, including razors, combs, and towels.Even during the renovation, towel warmers, a feature of this ryokan, are permanently installed.Meals will be served in the dining room on the 1st floor, not in your room.Luxurious and delicious meals for breakfast and dinner. In addition, for breakfast, rice cooked in a clay pot is served. This time it was hairtail rice.In winter, you can eat monkfish hotpot for an additional fee.A highlight of the renovation is that you can now bring your bicycle into your room. (You cannot move around the building with the wheels on the ground.)You can bring in two bicycles and hang the bicycles on the wall.Looking at your own bicycle from your bed is very interesting!Mosquito nets were installed before heading to the bathhouse on the 3rd floor.I think it would be a good idea to watch Oarai at night from a mosquito net.I think this is by far the best inn in Oarai.I can recommend it to anyone, but if you are cycling around Oarai or Hitachinaka on your own bicycle, I think you should consider staying overnight.Payment can be made by cash or credit card.

In conclusion, this is the best accommodation. The room and public bath were clean and I had a very comfortable stay. The flounder engawa and bamboo shoot rice served at breakfast. It was very delicious. (I made a reservation with a breakfast only plan.)The landlady and young landlady welcomed us cheerfully and warmly. They were kind to the children, and the children were smiling from beginning to end.We apologize for having to see you off in the rain when you checked out.Thank you very much for your help during this time.I would definitely like to use it again.

While strolling through the town of Oarai, I discovered a beautiful pine tree. According to the information board, in the past there was the first torii gate of Oarai Shrine in this area, and it was a bustling center of Isohama. And now it is said to be the symbol of the "Magarematsu Shopping Street".

An annex to a popular snack shop. The food is very delicious, but it's a shame that you can't eat it unless you're staying overnight.I hope we will be able to open for lunch.
