[Accommodations where you can stay with pets]It is located off the main road, in a peaceful place like a farm road.■FrontIt seems to be run by a couple, with the wife in charge of cooking and the husband in charge of customer service.Although I never met his wife, I felt at home with her husband's excellent customer service, which never left me.■FacilitiesAs the company sells ``Showa retro,'' posters of Yujiro Ishihara and movies from the heyday of the silver screen are hung everywhere, although they are copies.Additionally, on the mezzanine floor, there are objects on display that evoke the atmosphere of the 1950s, such as a CRT TV and a black telephone. The second floor is the guest room, and I think there are recordings in the hallway of Sei!, which I listened to a lot in the 1970s. Young & All Night Nippon is being broadcast. It's on the second floor, but there are manga books (not very old) at both ends of the aisle. After dinner, I read the manga that I felt nostalgic for until I went to bed (though I stopped when I found out that there were 31 volumes up to volume 16).Also, there are radios from the transistor radio era sitting here and there.■RoomIt was originally a room that was created by punching out the wall of one room and combining two rooms, with a bed and space for a tea table on tatami mats. It's spacious enough and you can naturally relax in the tatami room, so it's very comfortable. There are plenty of amenities, and even though it's only 100 yen, you can even take your dog's toys home with you. What is disappointing is the size and location of the TV.The small TV is placed on the window ledge, so I have to constantly look up and it hurts my neck. Also, when I moved the bed, my hair was collecting dust under the bed, so I think it would be better to pay more attention to every corner when cleaning.■ToiletThere was one complaint about the toilet in the room. That's because the toilet seat is cold! It's true that back in the Showa era, toilet seats weren't warm, but these days, we've become overprotective and used to warm toilet seats, so when we first see a cold toilet seat, we stand up and say, "It's cold!" Of course I was so surprised that I couldn't stand it, but even though I knew it, I still had to be prepared to sit down. .■BathThere was a bath in the room, but there are two slightly larger communal baths on the mezzanine floor. When I was there, there were only two groups, so one of them was reserved for us, which was nice.Unfortunately, the provided shampoo and body soap pumps have black mold on them, so I don't feel like using them. The screen door that opened the window was dirty, so I thought it would be better to clean the areas that are not visible a little more thoroughly.■MealsEverything except the lobster gratin was already on the table, and the soup wasn't cold, but I wanted it to be hot if possible, so I'd like it to be served in order.Since you prepare your own rice from an electronic jar, you can control how much you want to eat. Also, the homemade local beer, which has less than 1% alcohol content, tasted like dark beer and was delicious. For the after-meal dessert, I had to grind my own coffee beans, which was fun.Breakfast was a Western-style bread meal, but I didn't eat too much, so lunch was easy.■Dinner for dogsDinner for your dog will be served even if you don't ask.The ingredients were boiled vegetables such as broccoli and carrots, and chicken, but it was included in the dog fee, so it was very reasonable.■GeneralAlthough it sells itself as a Showa-retro style, I think it's a pension that people of old age will appreciate more than the 1950s, which Yujiro Ishihara considers "nostalgic."The host's customer service may not be stylish, but it's a comfortable service that never leaves, so it's no wonder that there are so many repeat customers.I think it's a good place to immerse yourself in manga, forget about time, and relieve your fatigue. However, I would say it's a fun accommodation for dogs. . . . I think it's a place where people can relax.
