The first time I encountered a log house was about 30 years ago, when I happened to see one while traveling around Iwate Prefecture for work. It was made of logs over 40cm thick and looked like it was decorating a mountain hut. Taking advantage of the gentleness of the wood, they processed it with a chainsaw, and the finished product was impressive.At first, I thought it would be wonderful to spend the night in a place like this. Since then, I have not had the opportunity to stay overnight, and due to the current coronavirus issue, I decided to use GO TO Travel, which was launched by the government as part of the revitalization of economic activity. If it weren't for this campaign, which is available at a low price, I would have lost touch with logging.After completing the reception and standing in front of the log, I felt a strong sense that the log night I had dreamed of for so many years was now becoming a reality. The surrounding location is also good. When you step inside, you will feel even better. A space with a high ceiling. A compact kitchen. A hot spring that comes out when you twist your cock. An elegant and sculpturally cut log. Everything did not disappoint and welcomed us kindly. I was able to fully enjoy an extraordinary world that is not available in everyday life. I'm thinking of reusing it. Thank you.

The grounds were so large that I got lost, but the log house was comfortable. The cleaning is thorough and everything is clean and I am very satisfied. The scent of wood was also soothing. However, I thought it was scary at night when there was nothing around. But it's a good place to relax.

It was my first time staying in a log house. When I touched the logs and looked at the growth rings, I felt the gentleness of the trees. It was nice to be able to take a hot spring bath whenever I wanted.

A really great place located deep in a large estate. The place must be accessed by car only. The bath got the hot water from nearby onsen. The nearby private onsen is also superb.
