An inn using an old folk house. The room in the main building where we ate was very nice. The work of the master, a potter, was lined up, giving it a calming feel.

We were here for 3 nights and had a great stay. Our family of 4 was in one of the detached buildings overlooking the rice paddies with an ocean view in the distance; so beautiful and peaceful. The owner and other staff were very kind and helpful, we felt very welcomed. They even allowed us to use the washing machine to do a load of wash. We did have a tricky time finding exactly where to go when first arriving because we didn't see a sign- look for the gravel parking area with large stone steps leading up to a closed wooden sliding door- you are in the right place. Our very favorite part was the breakfast. After staying 2 weeks in Japan and having many traditional meals, the breakfast here was hands down the best of our trip. Highly recommend!

Excellent ryokan: very good food and service at reasonable prices. They adapted the dishes to make them gluten-free, since one of us is allergic to gluten. We loved our stay there.

It's a small inn that stands alone in the middle of the original Japanese landscape, and the people there are kind, and it's quiet and relaxing, so I was really healed. I was talking to a friend who came with me about wanting to work here for a while. Is this amount really enough? ? The dinner included locally caught crab and sashimi, and I was very impressed by how delicious it was.I definitely want to come again.—————————————————I also post mainly about gourmet food on Instagram at @foodie_chigu.

Staying here was worth it despite being far and isolated. The dinner was amazing - we were give one whole crab per person along with a variety of sashimi. Then the grilled fish and side dishes were so delicious. In addition to dinner, the overnight stay also included a full breakfast, and everything was less than 15k JPY. Finally, the family hosting the place was very kind and gracious. We came by foot, so they drove us to the onsen and our next destination. They even gave us an umbrella since it was raining and we didn’t bring one. Overall a wonderful ryokan experience!
