Traditional kaiseki cuisine. Each dish is brought out one by one and is not only beautiful, but also delicious. What is impressive is the piping hot soup bowl packed with seasonal ingredients, and the 8 sun dish. The subtle soy sauce is also distinctive and pleasant. The sashimi was just the right amount (seasonal white squid, etc.), and the wagyu beef grilled on magnolia leaves was also wonderful. Above all, the rice and vegetables at this inn were really delicious. I heard from an acquaintance who lives in Hamasaka that it is often used for year-end parties and gatherings to get rid of the hot weather, and after actually staying there, I was completely convinced. The fact that people who have been using it for many years never get tired of it is probably an attractive feature.On the other hand, the way the hot springs (source) are handled is actually quite tricky, as they are carefully poured into the bathtub. Even though it doesn't come with bubbles, this injection method is an important point for enthusiasts.

Anyway, both dinner and breakfast were very delicious and you could enjoy seasonal ingredients!It has a somewhat nostalgic atmosphere, but it was clean, the rooms were spacious, and the toilets were clean.At this time of year, I was able to see fireflies nearby, and was able to soothe my daily fatigue in a place rich in nature. The constant customer service and attention to detail made me feel very comfortable. thank you very much.

Advance reservation is required!No matter how many times I go, I never get tired of the dishes that make full use of the flavors of the seasonal ingredients.Although it is small, it also has a hot spring, so you can use the hot spring while having a meal. It's very hot so we recommend diluting it with water!

We would like to thank everyone at Otaso for their hospitality.I was able to enjoy the chef's heartfelt cuisine and the hot springs that warmed me from the core of my body.This time, I stayed with my wife and my parents.I had a nostalgic reunion with the proprietress of Ota-so and was able to talk with my parents, which was very moving.I am grateful that my father and mother's lifespans have been extended by experiencing the delicious food and the heartfelt hospitality of the people at Otaso during this trip.
