Getting up to the sunrise and staying close to the nature is the blessing in life!Masaya Villa offered me and my friends such an amazing opportunity to explore the beautiful Izu. Indeed, we were pleased with our own decision to be there. Before then, we read reviews that Mark was a super host. Even so, we didn’t realize how one super host could enhance the joy of staying there until we met him.Fortunately, Mark was free and kind to drive us to volcanic mountain and sea coast in the area. We also enjoyed chatting with him in the Villa living room while sipping afternoon tea/coffee and snacking some Japanese goodies. Very impressively besides the outer views from our rooms was Mark’s cross cultural life experience, what I found so rare yet fascinating. We appreciated his sharing, his professionalism managing the place, and his gentle self as a Japanese with such rich international understanding. As a person deeply interested in cross-cultural learning, staying there has added up to my wonderful trip.

The ocean view in the morning is the best. The other day I was able to see a bright red morning sun. The internet environment is also comfortable. I was also sent to Futo Onsen, and the host's hospitality was great. I had a relaxing stay and enjoyed it. I'm thinking of changing the season this time. thank you very much.

What a wonderful place to stay! A true gem in the Izu peninsula. Book here if you want a traditional tatami room experience. They also have a private onsen that you can rent for a very reasonable fee, a good way to cap off a trip to the Izu peninsula.
