Beautiful retro traditional ryokan. The rooms are well appointed and it feels like stepping back in time. The onsen are amazing. It was so nice to be able to go bathe as often as we wanted during our stay.

The food was very good. Is abalone really that soft? That's about it.

I used it for 2 nights and 3 days. It can't be helped that the inn has been around for a long time, but the food was very satisfying. On the second day, they made sure that the food didn't overlap, and it was very delicious.

The air conditioner in the room was old and it was inconvenient because it was cold even when I turned it on at the lowest setting and hot when I turned it off.If you lay out four futons in the Japanese-style room on the second floor, the width will be tight, but it's not a problem. The outdoor pool was right below, and it was so spacious and easy to get to, and being able to take a hot spring bath after getting out of the pool was so luxurious. The inn is old but clean, as per the reviews. The front desk was very responsive, and they were happy to answer phone calls in advance and consultations on the day of the stay.We stayed for several nights, and everything from the appetizers to the dinner on the first day was delicious, and the children were very happy with the easy-to-eat meals such as fried shrimp and hamburgers. However, since the quantity is generally large, it would be nice to be able to choose the quantity because it would reduce waste. On the second night, compared to the first day, I felt a bit neglected, as no one came even after the hotpot was finished. One thing that made me uncomfortable was that during breakfast on August 9th, I noticed that there were several foldables placed at the venue, and when I asked the person in charge on the morning of the last day, they said, ``Customers have different plans, so they can't choose.'' Hmm, it's something I'm not supposed to show you...'' he made a gesture to hide it.Did you think I would ask my house to be like that too?I just asked for reference for my next trip. You can't choose, if you want to hide it, please hide it properly.I don't think it's something hidden because there was a check box on the room breakfast questionnaire to select whether it was a venue or a bento box.It would have been a great trip if the Japanese servers at the venue had been more friendly and welcoming.
