I booked this inn with the intention of spending a relaxing time in the open-air bath in my room, but due to a large infestation of stink bugs and many other insects, I was never able to enter the open-air bath in my room.Since this is an inn surrounded by nature, a certain amount of insects can be tolerated, but there were over 100 stink bugs all over the glass window around the room (near the open-air bath), and about 20 in the shower room across the door. The shower room is small and closed, so the smell of stink bugs is very strong.I tried my best to chase them out and take a shower, but there were over 100 of them outside, so I couldn't even open the door.By the way, there is a large public bath, but it doesn't even have a shower, so I wasn't able to take a bath or shower during my two days and one night stay.Even though I'm not particularly afraid of insects, it was still difficult for me, so I was curious about how other customers bathed under these conditions.

I stayed in the room at the back of the maisonette. The bath smelled of sulfur and was pleasant, but there was trash floating in the bath from where the hot spring came out. Even if you scoop it up with a net, there are a lot of small pieces.(For example, it's like garbage in a washing machine...)A saucer from which the hot water flows? Some places were dirty and didn't seem to have been cleaned, probably because of the sulfur.I pulled out the stopper and poured out all the hot water and tried to refill it, but the garbage was floating again. Since it was a ceramic bath kettle, it was very slimy, so it would be best to clean the entire bath once again. The entrance to the public bath and the changing room are extremely small. If you put 4 feet on it, it will be crowded. There are only four baskets. But it's spacious enough to fit 10 people... it's a mystery lolThere's no shower or tub...it's a great mystery lolIt's on top of a mountain, so the view is nice, but there are a lot of insects in the summer. A female spider was making a nest in front of the entrance. The room and food were perfect, but it was a complete waste. But the toilet was in the bedroom (right next to the bed)...

The guest next door peered into our open-air bath from across the garden. You should think more about partition fences.

It's a bit Western-style to be considered a ryokan. The food isn't especially delicious, but it's great to take a bath in your room in a location that looks like it's jutting out from the shore. It wasn't expensive (at the time) and left a good impression.

Used by a couple in September 2021.Since it was Silver Week, the price was a bit high, but I was still very satisfied.Anyway, the view from the room is amazing! There is an open-air bath where you can soak while looking at the horizon and the sunrise, and you can also see Izu Oshima on the right. The food was delicious, especially the golden sea bream sashimi and shabu-shabu.As other people's reviews have said, since it's in nature, there may be insects in some cases, but we only saw one.The customer service from the employees was also good. The only thing that was disappointing was the smell in the toilet. For some reason, from the moment I was shown to my room, the bathroom smelled like va*, and the smell didn't go away during my stay. It's fine to have a stylish glass wall, but I think it would be better to have a window that allows for constant ventilation. For us, the price is quite affordable, so we will work hard so that we can come back to stay again. Will visit again in September 2022.My request at the time of reservation was fulfilled and I stayed in Building 6.As expected, the view, hot springs, food, and customer service are all wonderful. All the dishes were different from last year and were very delicious.5 stars without a doubt.

Privacy is not an issue as everything is separate. I stayed in a maisonette-type room with an open-air bath and living room on the second floor, and a bed on the first floor. The hot spring bath has a slight sulfur scent. The water temperature is also good. The only drawback is that when it rains, water leaks out of the skylight. The washing area is small and there are steps, so combined with the structure of the maisonette, it is not recommended for elderly people. We recommend the one-story type. The area is surrounded by dense trees, so there are a lot of insects, and even though you can see the ocean, it's beyond the trees, so it's not a spectacular view.It is probably not suitable for elderly people or people who dislike insects, as it is quite a walk down the stairs into the woods to reach the open-air public bath.Although the dinner is elaborately prepared, the taste is not very clear. I would have liked for the restaurants to either focus on pure Japanese cuisine that utilizes simple ingredients, or focus on elaborate Western cuisine.Considering the cost is over 100,000 yen per night for two people, it seems quite expensive.

The rooms are noticeably old and are not kept well-maintained. The dinner is elaborate, but I feel like the quality of the ingredients isn't really taken advantage of. It was a shame that there were no egg dishes for breakfast. Hospitality is average considering the price.

It was a relaxing inn and the hot springs were nice. There are no vending machines, so if you want to drink, you have to drink expensive drinks from the refrigerator in the room.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, care was taken to minimize contact with other customers. All of the staff members were kind and wonderful. …
