I used it when climbing Mt. Daisen. During dinner, the host carefully explained the dishes. You can see the top of Mt. Daisen from the entrance! I plan to use it for winter mountain climbing as well.

Thank you for staying with us for two nights during our stay at Daisenji Temple. I am impressed by the fact that they are running their business in the off-season and in bad weather, facing the harsh elements of nature. I have a son who is in junior high school, and like me, I visited a shrine and temple in the heavy snow this morning thinking that there is something I should learn from you. thank you very much.

It was a one night stay without meals. My master? They were friendly and kind, and they helped me by letting me leave my car there while I went to the ski resort the morning I arrived, and they even let me leave my gear and luggage there. The room is clean and the size of 4 and a half tatami mats is perfect for a solo traveler. There is a communal bath, but you can also enjoy day trip hot springs nearby.
