Although it was a mountain hut for overnight stays without meals, we were able to use the hot springs that flow directly from the source.I enjoyed talking with the host.

I stayed here for two nights to sightsee the Shiretoko Peninsula. Thank you very much for your help in that section.Located at the entrance to Mt. Rausu, this mountain hut is perfect for climbing Mt. Rausu, which is a long trail, even if it's just a day trip. The open-air bath with natural hot spring water had a feeling of openness and was extremely comfortable. The day after climbing Mt. Rausu, we went to climb Kamuiwakka Falls and sightsee the Shiretoko Goko Lakes. The Shiretoko Nature Center is very convenient as it is very close to Kinoshita Hut. We were able to do sightseeing and mountain climbing efficiently in two days. The manager may look tough at first glance, but he is a very kind person! We were able to hear detailed information about the nature of the Shiretoko Peninsula, including the brown maroons, and Mt. Rausu.I've become a big fan of Kinoshita Hut, which I definitely want to visit, along with the great nature of the Shiretoko Peninsula!

A mountain hut for climbers. I visited here once over 20 years ago and remember how great the hot springs were. This time I visited for a day trip bath. It seems that the hot water supply is poor and they are not allowed in the room these days, but I was able to force the owner to let me in. Is it wonderful?

A convenient mountain hut when traversing Mt. Rausu and the Shiretoko Mountain Range. However, the lights go out at 8pm, so it's best to arrive before sunset at the latest. The only electricity available is lamps, so a headlamp is a must. Drinks are provided, but food and bedding are not, so you will need to bring your own. There are two bathtubs, but only the one in the back can be used. The toilet is outside. They also rent bear spray, but the owner said that if you had a bear bell, you wouldn't need it in the summer. In fact, I never saw a bear.Accommodation is 3000 yen per person. Of course, there are no private rooms.

I stayed there the night before climbing Mt. Rausu in July 2014.I was told that compact cars could be parked there, but I had to park my super long Hiace, but since I arrived early.I was guided near the entrance and was able to stop safely. It's a mountain hut, so lights go out early.Considering dinner, bath, and preparations for the next day, it is best to arrive no later than 4:00 pm so that you can have more time.I also received a lot of advice from my husband about how to walk Mt. Rausu and about bears.Thank you very much for your help.

Kinoshita Hut, accessible by car, next to the Mt. Rausu trailheadIf you stay overnight, you will receive free flowing hot spring water and a brown bear lecture. Bring your own bedding and food. They sold beer and cola. The manager may look tough at first glance, but he is a kind person with a love for mountains/climbers and bears. There is a parking lot, but the number is limited, so please check when making a reservation.

Unfortunately I couldn't stay there, but you can also buy 100 famous mountain badges (2 types) here. After descending the mountain, we went to a water hole, washed our faces, and had a coke. Please use the restroom and complete your mountain climbing registration here.

This is a mountain hut with the worst service. I even debated whether to quit the mountain. I was saved by the divine response of the nearby Chinogai Hotel.
