I was wowed by the photos of the fireplace but disappointed in general. Stayed during new years while understandably will be more expensive but at ~15,000 yen person it is ridiculous. Rooms are bit small but mostly fine except off no private toilets (some rooms have them), the public washroom is worse than most department stores, you can barely take off your pants without scrapping the door, and people walking by get full view of the urinal. Absolutely unacceptable that we get the thinnest towel ever, more like a cloth for everything, this is balance cost saving by the hotel at the cost of comfort at the guest. Lastly the food is underwhelming. I had the basic package which mainly consisted of a single main dish (shabu shabu/sukiyaki) and rice. THAT’S IT. Granted we did get free coffee and tea but it is a terrible value. Overall it is an old building with ridiculous markup, not worth it for the fireplace. Would honestly stay at any of the chain hotels at Yonago and take the price up

Also used for climbing Mt. DaisenOlder than I expected, with a Showa era atmosphereClean despite its age✨It was a slightly cool day, but unfortunately the fireplace wasn't lit.The food was delicious that night, but it was a bit salty. Is it okay if I don't eat in the morning? what it saidOverall, I didn't get the impression that it was worth much unless the fireplace was lit.

The first thing that catches your eye is the large fireplace. For a pension, the facilities are spacious and luxurious, the food is delicious, and it looks good on social media, so I think it's a good and reasonably priced accommodation.

I think this is the best location if you want to enjoy Daisen skiing. We used the free lift from the parking lot and were located right next to the slope we climbed, so if we got tired of skiing, we could take off our ski boots and take a break in our room (from the day before to two nights). There's also an entrance that doubles as a ski equipment storage area, so I'm thankful that I don't have to change my ski boots and shoes every time. The staff is kind and if it is convenient, they will come and pick you up in a buggy to carry your luggage to the parking lot.

Stayed here for a night before hiking Daisen. Food was great. Room is a little old but spacious. Love the circular fireplace next to the dining hall.

I think it's tough being alone. The food is delicious but the quantity is small. I wish there was an additional menu
