I chose this inn to relieve the fatigue of playing golf. It is also good that there are many single-person plans. The plan was for horse sashimi and steak, but...I was very satisfied! The horse sashimi is luxuriously thickly sliced into 3 parts and 6 pieces each. The steak's melt-in-your-mouth fat and sour sauce are a perfect match. The other course dishes are also carefully prepared and very delicious. I was full by the time I finished the steak, but the chestnut rice was so delicious that I ended up having another. It was hot so I decided to have beer, but next time I might try some sake. The room is simple, but the futon is soft so you can sleep right away. There is no difference between the two private baths, but the water is flowing constantly and the temperature is good. I ended up going in twice, one after the other. The bathtub is deeper than I expected, so I think it would be dangerous if I didn't grab the handrail. It was an inn that I would like to use again.

Hmm.I think it's a good or bad idea, but I have a hard time understanding why the reviews are so high. Both cooking and bathing are normal. Customer service is salty (+_+)Have there been a lot of unwanted customers? I would like to be treated somewhat like a customer. There was no greeting, and I was asked to write my name in the register. After registering, I checked the vending machine and was told, ``Where are you facing? Please come and I will show you to your room.''I don't know which is better, and I don't think the cost performance is good either. The main dish was chicken, and the portion was too small. I understand if it's Kuroge Wagyu beef. There are many good inns in Shiobara Onsen that are doing their best. It's kind of a waste (´・ω・`)I also visited Kusatsu, Ikaho, Chuzenji, Oku-Nikko, Kinugawa, Nasu, Gero, Sukayu, Naruko, Kaike, and there were many better places.postscriptI received a reply from the inn, but it's horrible. It's not the hostel's fault; it's the customer's fault.I just wanted to soak in the hot springs quietly. It's not that I want to have a friendly conversation with the people at the hostel. I just want to relieve the fatigue I've accumulated from working in the field. Is that a bad thing? Since I felt ignored (I haven't), I guess it's okay to respond with salt.Did you ever say "Thank you for your welcome"? I didn't feel any gratitude for staying with me.I wrote that I was angry, but I didn't raise my voice or look angry. I thought that he spoke bluntly and had a bad attitude, not in the way he greeted customers. Do customers have to be that friendly?I just wanted to relax.I have a colleague at work who loves hot springs, but he said he stopped going because he was treated like salt. I wish you would have told me sooner (´・ω・`)Honjin has high review points, so I think there may be some misunderstanding.

I stopped by because it was advertised as a first class guesthouse. The hot springs are straight from the source, without adding water or heating, and my husband and I took a private bath 8 times.I was surprised by the overwhelming selection of sake.Dinner is a style where you can enjoy very elaborate and creative cuisine as if it were a course. So, it was almost freshly made, and we paired it with Japanese sake or light red wine to enjoy, and finished off with a dessert made from takikomi rice.Breakfast has a wide variety of items, so refills are a must, and the delicious coffee you get after your meal is the best. There are 5 10 tatami Japanese-style rooms.I was completely hooked.I will visit you again at a different time.

Simple hot spring bathA simple hot spring with fresh water flowing into a small bathtub. It can be rented out for private use. There are plenty of amenities such as choosing your favorite shampoo from several types and free use of lotion. For dinner, the inn had a better selection of sake than any other inn I've been to, and the creative cuisine was delicious, so overall I was very satisfied.

2024.5 revisited. It's still wonderfully good.Dinner goes well with alcohol and is very delicious. The food was top-notch for an inn in the mid-to-late 10,000 yen price range. We have a wide selection of sake from all over the country, and you can enjoy a wide variety of them at dinner.I recommend the premium sake set as it is a great value. (Snacks were included as a service, but they were good enough to be considered as a service.)You can stay alone, but it will be a little more expensive. But I think I'm satisfied. There are two hot springs that are the same, and you can use them for private use at any time during your stay if they are available. The downside is that the toilet is not in the room and is shared.Other than that, there are no particular drawbacks, and overall it's great.

I was looking for a place where I could stay alone with delicious food. All of the dishes were carefully prepared and each item was delicious and satisfying.Although it is compact, there are two hot springs, and the hot springs flow directly from the source, and we were able to use them as much as we wanted during our private stay, so we ended up bathing 6 times. It was crowded after check-in time of 3pm, but you can check in at any time you like.In addition to the food and the hot springs, I also liked that the house was well-maintained and clean, and that the information about each place was shown from the guest's perspective, and that the hospitality was kind and polite. It's a place where I feel like I belong.Since it is a guest house, the bathrooms and washrooms are shared, so if you don't mind that, this is the most recommended inn among the Shiobara Onsen inns.

Both the guest rooms and common areas are kept well-maintained, and the two indoor baths have free-flowing water and can be reserved for private use 24 hours a day.I forgot to take pictures of the dinner halfway through.Everything was delicious and we had a relaxing time.

I have used it several times. Both dinner and breakfast are delicious. There is a wide variety of alcoholic beverages (especially Japanese sake), so it's fun to choose. Since there are only a few rooms, you can use the private bath whenever you like. I also like the quality of the hot spring water. It has a clean feel and I would recommend it to those who want to relax and enjoy meals and hot springs.
