I stayed here while touring. The inn was surrounded by nature, and the food was delicious. However, the moment I entered the room, there was a strong smell of mold, and there were some places that felt uncomfortable, such as the door slamming shut, probably because the door was broken.

I like the quality of the hot springs, but it's annoying when I visit during busy hours. Changing area is small

Wish I could give half stars, I'm leaning into 3. While the staff was great the rooms and hotel itself was old and kind of a letdown. Wifi only in the lobby. Nothing special and out of the main route, the station was 30 mins walk with big hiking bags. There were to massage chairs in the lobby (I guess that's the spa part) and an onsen where you could enter with tatto. But damn, the food was incredible.

Not having a toilet in the room was more inconvenient than I had imagined. Also, there is no convenience store nearby. The employee in the photo was in the bath and was staring at the naked bodies of the bathers. I think he's probably that type of person.

Although the hot springs use water, there is no disinfectant smell, and even though it's Obon, it's fairly empty, and the baths are private every morning and evening, so the kids are very happy! ! Many children's meals available, staffThe service is minimal because there are few rooms, but the rooms are spacious and the futons are pulled out, and the accommodation is good value for money! If you want to play in Atera Valley, this is your choice!
