A family trip with two working children and a Papillon. I was looking for a place to go to Akiyoshidai and stay in Yamaguchi, but I couldn't find a place for four adults with a dog.I discovered this place by chance and decided to experience it for the first time! What will happen to the scared dog and Off-kun? I was half looking forward to it, and half anxious.Off-kun is very kind and gentle, there were no problems at all!More importantly, my daughter seemed to be very happy with this precious opportunity to interact with a large dog, and Off-kun was also cuddling close to her. I felt that this is what owning a large dog is like. The interior of the room was very American in style, giving the impression that they didn't care about the details, but it was thoroughly cleaned and it felt like I was staying at a friend's house, which was very refreshing. For dinner, I made okonomiyaki using a hot plate. The kitchen and bathroom are shared, so I made sure to use them carefully and cleanly. The two bedrooms had the same specifications, and an extra bed could be pulled out and used as a bunk bed. The sheets are provided by yourself. There was no air conditioning, but there was also an oil heater.I think it is not suitable for people who are staying overnight compared to hotels. The owner has a really warm personality and I felt that he had a lot of experience and was very relaxed. The garden is also a dog run, but apparently there is a large dog run in the back, and although I never used it, I felt that even large dogs would be satisfied.I was looking forward to seeing the Akiyoshidai Karst, but unfortunately I wasn't able to see much of it because the weather was cloudy and there was a lot of mist. The whole family seemed to be having fun, and even though it's far away, if I ever go to Yamaguchi Prefecture again, I would love to spend some time with Off-kun.

Looks like you can stay overnight in an old folk house. It felt like I was visiting my grandma and I was able to relax. My dog, who is usually afraid of other dogs, felt at ease with Off-kun, the signboard dog.I want to meet you again, such a smart and big boy ☺️
