It felt like a good old ryokan, and it was a very relaxing space. Both dinner and breakfast are buffets, and each dish is of the highest quality. There are both indoor and outdoor hot springs, both of which were relaxing. There was a space in the observation lounge where you could lie down and enjoy the view. There is also a children's space on the third floor, and my son had fun playing there as well. The employees are kind and helpful, and my family and I are very satisfied. I thought it was such a waste to close.

I stayed here for 1 night and 2 days.It is located near Kumihama Bay.Some rooms offer panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean or Kumihama Bay. Breakfast was a buffet.Surprisingly rich in variety,I was also able to drink milk and coffee from Hirabayashi Dairy. The soft serve ice cream is also delicious! The problem is that the toilet and sink in the room are far apart. There is an open-air bath, but no sauna. There is also Wi-Fi, but I can't say it's very strong. I can surprisingly recommend it if you want to take a relaxing vacation, but unfortunately it will close in April 2025. If you want to stay overnight, please come early. It is ideal for people who want to run errands around Kyotango City or Toyooka City first thing in the morning.

I visited Yuyu Minato again on Wednesday, August 7, 2024.To be honest, I didn't find it as appealing this time as I did last time.First of all, the woman at the reception desk, I don't know if she's not very lively or if she's originally a customer service person, but she seems very cold.I wouldn't think anything of that kind of customer service at my local supermarket, but that kind of customer service at a place I visited on a family trip was...well. Could the customer service be a little warmer? The meal was very delicious.A slightly older woman offered me food in the morning, and she casually said, ``Please give me lots of refills,'' which made the trip seem so much more fun. What was really disappointing was what happened in the bathroom. An elderly male staff member said to me in front of the bathroom, ``Excuse me, but it seems like your locker won't open.I'm a man, so I can't go inside, so could you please take a look inside?'' When I entered the bathhouse, a female customer was in trouble because she was naked and said, ``I didn't have a locker.''When I told the male staff about this, he said, ``We can't go inside either.''What should I do?When I went back inside, another customer said, ``I didn't open my locker yesterday either.''When I told the male staff that they couldn't come in, he was at a loss as to what to do.I asked the male staff member again, ``Are there no female staff members?'' He replied, ``Female staff don't come to work until 8 o'clock.''If that's the case, isn't there a countermeasure you can take, such as bringing a yukata for them, returning to their room, and waiting for the female staff to arrive at 8 o'clock before unlocking their lockers? In the end, another customer opened the locker. If the locker won't open, it's not because you lost the key, but there's a problem with the locker, but what would you have done if it didn't open? The last staff member on my way home was a woman named Kotani-san, and I think she must be the one in charge because her customer service and enthusiasm for customers was different from the other staff members. Thanks to that person, I was able to finish the trip in a good mood. But I don't think I'll ever use this again.I am thinking of choosing Kashoen, a group company.Previous reviews↓It was my first time visiting with my family on a family trip.I've been to the affiliated store Kashoen several times, but this was my first time.I arrived about 30 minutes early, and the person at the front desk was very nice, saying, "It's already ready, so it's okay."Instead of having your luggage carried to your room like at Kashoen, you bring it by yourself, but I didn't have to worry about it that way (although this is partly due to the coronavirus pandemic).I didn't have high expectations for the buffet since the prices were reasonable, but my expectations were completely exceeded. The quality is amazing at this price. Our family is quite big on food, but from the young female waiter to the staff preparing the food in front of us, not a single one made an unpleasant face, and the customer service was very pleasant. The breakfast buffet was also delicious. The bath is also nice! All the staff members were very welcoming and kind, and it was a great trip from the moment I arrived until I left. After returning home, I felt lonely because of the wonderful accommodation and fond memories.I definitely want to go there in winter too.
