Location and amenities were wonderful. Great place to stay if you’re looking for a more local experience and don’t mind that the place doesn’t have lifts or a front desk/concierge.

This inn is run by the owner of Amanohashidate Wine and is limited to two groups per day, calling it a hideout. A luxurious structure where you can feel the owner's attention to detail throughout. We enjoyed delicious food and fine wine while overlooking the canal in a quiet environment with jazz music playing. It's perfect for those who are tired of ordinary, run-of-the-mill lodging.

I stayed in the annex without meals. It had the feel of a part of a soba restaurant that had been converted into a hotel. The stairs are steep and difficult to climb. The room was spacious and nice, but the toilet, shower, and sink were designed differently and were very difficult to use. The shower is a transparent booth and uncomfortable.I was a little scared because the building seemed old. However, the location was great.

I used a room-only plan. The inn was across the street and close to the sea, which was nice. There was also a massage chair. The customer service was polite and I had very pleasant memories. thank you very much!

Fantastic location, food and accommodation.Unbelievable bottle wine list for connoisseurs; reasonable per glass prices for everyone else ;-) Also serves wine from the nearby amanohashidate winery.Food is a first rate French-inspired course menu.Gorgeous, spacious private onsen bath with attached outside rotemburo.Tastefully appointed suite in a historic building overlooking the canal and rotating bridge.Staff is knowledgeable and professional.I have literally only one recommendation to improve this nearly perfect experience: it would be nice to have a proper espresso. The Swiss super-automatic machine produces a lovely breakfast coffee but after dinner I found myself wanting something with a bit more oomph 😄

I used it to celebrate my wedding anniversary. The room, the food, and the staff's service were all exceptional, and my husband and I were very satisfied. We had a 6-month-old child with us, and they were always attentive not only in preparing the room but also in preparing meals.I will use them again next year.

I arrived a few hours before check-in due to train connections, but they kept my luggage and provided me with detailed information about nearby sightseeing and affiliated cafes. …

If you want to drink wine, make a reservation 3 months in advance♪ Accommodation fee is about 40,000 yen per person. Due to the influence of the coronavirus, the third floor is reserved for private use, and the bath is also reserved for private use. The atmosphere of the room is great, the bath is large, and there is an open-air bath! Even though I don't like baths, I was glad that I did. The food was delicious, and I drank a 1978 Pinot Noir that cost 36,000 yen. Even though it was old, it wasn't too bitter and was delicious enough for an amateur to drink.
